(F/N) POV)
After an interesting lunch and afternoon classes which consisted of me passing notes via electricity with Denki and drawing in my notebook, the final bell finally rang.
I stood up from my seat and stretched and Denki walked over to me. He smiled, "So were you being serious with what you said last period?"
I nodded, "Yeah, that's what I heard."
Sero overheard us and made his way to my desk, "Heard what?"
I smirked and I held a finger to my lips, "I heard that Aizawa and Present Mic are dating. Apparently, Midnight told one of her other classes!"
Sero gasped, "Whoa, no way! Pass a note to me next time, guys. I can't communicate like you two." I patted his shoulder, "No worries, Flex Tape, I gotcha covered."
Our classroom door was opened to reveal some students from different classes. I gulped and whispered to the two boys, "What's their deal?" Denki shrugged, "No idea, but they seem intense."
I turned my attention back to the door where Uraraka, Iida, and Midoriya were staring at our company. Uraraka stared into the crowd, "Um, why the heck are you all here?"
Iida half-chopped the air, "Do you students have some business with our class?"
Bakugo nonchalantly walked by them, "They're scouting out the competition, idiots. We're the class that survived a real villain attack. They wanna see us with their own eyes. At least now you know what a future pro looks like. Now, move it extras!"
I dashed to the door and whacked Bakugo on the head, "Dammit, Kacchan! Don't be so rude!"
He spun his head around, "What was that?!"
I backed off, "Nothing, nothing, nothing at all!" I laughed nervously, "Please don't kill me."
He rolled his eyes at me and gave me the middle finger. I turned around to Sero and Denki again and shrugged, "I tried, guys. I really did."
I heard a tired-sounding voice in the crowd that caught my attention, "So, this is Class 1-A. I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the hero course delusional, or just you?"
Just Bakugo, I thought as I grabbed Denki and Sero's shoulders to stop them from attacking the guy who called out to us.
The guy with purple hair and bags under his eyes continued talking, "How sad to come here and find a bunch of ego maniacs. I mean, you even yelled at that little girl over there." He pointed at me. I glared at him, which caused him to stop talking about me.
Denki laughed to himself, "Jokes on you, man. This 'little girl' could whoop your ass."
Sero looked down at Denki, "Speak from experience?"
Denki sulked and muttered a barely audible, "Maybe..." I patted my childhood friend's back as the boy with bags under his eyes kept his monologue going.
"I wanted to be in the hero course, too. But like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track. Such is life. I didn't cut it the first time around but I have another chance. If any of us do well in the sports festival, we can be transferred to the hero course. And they'll have to transfer people out to make room."
Everyone gulped and I could feel sweat forming on my forehead. What if I don't do well and have to leave the hero course?
"Scouting the competition, huh? Maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you all know if you don't do your very best, I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war." Oh my gosh was he still talking?
