(Very long chapter ahead, sorry! I wanted to get the sports festival in one chapter.)

(F/N) POV)

When I woke up, I was surprised by the fact that I had no nightmares about my past, but about my future. I had a dream where I was kicked out of the hero course for doing horribly in the sports festival.

I wasn't very worried about it since I have a little faith in myself. A little faith goes a long way.

I jumped into the air when Denki whipped open my door. He yelled, "Are youuu readyyyyy!?!?!"

I nodded furiously, "Well, duh! Please don't scare me like that next time, okay?" "Right," He looked down, "I won't. At least not on purpose."

I rolled my eyes and got ready for the day ahead of me.

(Time Skip)

I took a deep breath as I finished putting on my gym uniform in the locker room. Jirou looked at me with a smiling face, "Nervous?"

I nodded, "Well, only a little. As long as we do our best, that's all that matters, right?"

Mina jumped up into the air as we left the locker room, shouting, "Aweeee hell yeahhhhh! We are going to kick some butt today!" As I opened the door to our waiting room, Mina sighed, "I was really hoping to wear my costume, though."

Suddenly, Ojiro appeared behind us, "Well, everyone's going to be in uniforms, so it'll be fair."

I nodded, "True, true. Anyways, at least this doesn't really interfere with my quirk too much. You know, as long as I don't cover myself in flames." Sero smiled, "Oh yeah, I'd been meaning to ask you (F/N). Weakest to strongest, what are the elements you have the most control over?"

I nodded, "Well, the weakest is air, then earth, then water, then fire, and my strongest is electricity."

Jirou laughed a little, "Okay, but do you go stupid if you overuse your electrical powers?"

Knowing exactly who she was talking about, I shook my head, "No, not at all! The whole reason I can control electricity the best is because of all the fights I've gotten into *ahem* won against Denki."

I glanced over to the blonde I was talking about to find him pouting and Kirishima patting his shoulder. Mina tapped my shoulder, "So could you control my acid too?" I shook my head, "No, just dirt and stuff. A little boring, I know, but oh well."

Iida slammed the doors open, scaring the shit out of me, "EVERYBODY! Get your game faces on! We're entering the arena soon!"

I placed a hand over my heart-for two reasons. Reason one being that Iida scared me, and reason two being that I was deep in thought.

Mom, Dad, I'm going to win this thing for you. I hope you're watching from the other side. I'm gonna make you proud, so cheer for me from above, okay?

Iida led us out of the room a short while later into a tunnel that I assume leads to the arena. I engaged in a small conversation with Sero along the way that consisted of us telling one another how nervous we were and how excited we were to compete.

Present Mic appeared on the big screen and his voice filled our ears, "Hey! Make some noise all you rabid sports fans! Get those cameras prepped, you media hordes! This year we're bringing you some of the hottest performances in sports festival history, guaranteed! I've only got one question before we start this show: Are you ready?!?"

My eyes were met with a blinding bright light as we left the tunnel and looking around, I noticed that every single seat in the arena was filled. Present Mic continued, "Let me hear ya scream as our students make their way to the main stage!" I gulped and Mina hugged me, "We are going to win this!"
