Chapter 25

(F/N) POV)

As we screamed, we continued to fall down the mountain, falling from the mudslide my aunt had created. I heard Midoriya yell as we fell, "She must be controlling the ground!"

I took a deep breath, imagining that this was just a pudding spill. "Everybody, watch out!"

I hardened the mudslide, then slowly guided everyone to the base of the mountain where I made the mud a thinner consistency again. I was breathing heavy, and my left arm ached. I could feel all of my fingers throbbing. I wiped my brow, "I've never had to move that much at once!"

Mandalay yelled down to us, "Good news! Since this is private land, you can use your quirks as much as you want to! You've got three full hours. You should be able to make it to the facility in that time. That is, if you can get through The Beast's Forest!"

Midoriya yelled again, "The Beast's Forest?!" Denki helped me to my feet, "That sounds like a name right out of a fantasy game."

I was a little dizzy, but overall I was fine. Jirou sighed, "Why do we keep falling for Aizawa's little tricks?"

Kirishima brushed off his shirt, "I guess there's no use complaining. Might as well get going." Mineta rushed past us all, going faster than ever before. Mina shook her head, "Geez. (F/N), that was pretty badass!"

Momo nodded, "She's right. If it weren't for you, some of us might be hurt right now." I laughed, finally regaining my composure, "Well, I don't really know how I did it, but I did it."

We heard a growling in the distance. Sero jumped, "Um...anyone wanna take a guess as to what that is?" I shook my head, "Nope. Maybe we can avoid-" "AHHHH! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Sero and Denki cut me off as they saw the source of the noise. 

The monster wound it's arm back, about to attack Mineta. Koda tried his best to stop it, "Please calm yourself my giant friend! You don't wanna hurt them!"

As Midoriya dashed to get Mineta out of the way, my eyes widened in disbelief, "YOU CAN TALK!?"

I thought to myself again, So if Koda can control animals, this thing clearly is NOT an animal. Dammit! My only guess is that my aunt made these things, but I can't control beasts that she's made!

Denki set me down, "You ready?" I nodded, "Ready as I'll ever be."

And with that, we all rushed into the forest.

Midoriya stood in front of one of the beasts, and Todoroki froze another one in place as Iida used the engines in his legs to kick through it. Midoriya took the final blow on that one. I looked at Bakugo, and after a brief moment of eye contact, we nodded and attacked another monster. 

I used my fire powers, being careful to not lit the entire forest ablaze. I heard from the other side of the monster, "I'LL KILL YOU!" and an explosion moments after. I quickly aimed a fire blast at the beast, and I hit it at the same time that Bakugo's explosion hit. Another one down.

Sato and Sero ran up to the five of us. Sate clenched his fist, "You guys took those beasts  down in seconds!" Sero nodded, "It was awesome!"

Mineta hugged a tree, "They're relieved. And I relieved all over myself."

I chose to ignore the fact that he just wet his pants.

Kirishima put a hand on my shoulder and gestured to Bakugo, "You two showed that thing who's boss. Since when can you two work together like that?"

Bakugo grumbled, "We're not done." I nodded and brushed Kirishima's hand off of me, "I hate to admit it, but he's right."

Another beast emerged from the distance. Then another. And another. Denki growled, "Come on! Don't you think this is a little unfair?" Mina looked around the terrain, "What now? Do we run?" Sato spoke next, "Not good. If we don't make it to the camp fast enough, then we won't get anything to eat!"
