(F/N) POV)

I shivered as I woke up, only to realize that exams would be in a week.

Had I been studying...we're not going to dwell on that. I'd been paying attention in class, that was enough for me to at least get a decent grade.

Denki on the other hand...well, we're not going to dwell on that either.

I quickly got dressed and ready to go for the day ahead of me, and then I practically dragged Denki out the door. He complained, "But I don't wannaaaa! Let me sleep!" I sighed, "Denks, we're gonna be heroes together, right? So we need to at least get an education!"

After that, he started walking to school.

We met Sero and Mina at the front gate, and they were both pretty jittery. Mina squealed, "Heyo! (F/N), (F/N)! Guess what happened!"

I put my hands up in defense as Mina launched herself at me, "What now?"

The pink girl smiled, "I started studying for exams!"

I laughed, "But are you retaining information...?" Mina immediately turned around and walked into school. Sero smiled, "I'll take her silence as a no. Morning Kaminari, (F/N)." I smiled, "Morning, Sero. How have you been?"

Said boy only shrugged, "I dunno. I've been tired as hell lately. My dad made me stay up late to study last night, so I only got a couple hours of sleep." On a good night, I could only get arund six hours. And that's only on nights when I don't have nightmares. I nodded, "I'm sorry about that. When exams are over we all need to have a sleepover at Mina's house again."

Sero nodded as he opened the door to our classroom, "We really do. Maybe we should have a class sleep over or something." I laughed, "Could you imagine that, though?"

Denki shut the door behind us, "Thanks for including me in your conversation."

I turned around, "Sorry, Denki. Kinda forgot you were there."

In a few minutes, Mr. Aizawa entered the room and class began.

(Time Skip)

Mr. Aizawa closed his binder, "All right. That's it for class today. There's only one week left before your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly, right?"

I felt a shiver go up my spine. Nope, not one bit actually.

"Don't forget to keep training." Mr. Aizawa continued, "The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about. Good luck."

And with that, Mr. Aizawa shut the door as he walked out of the classroom.

Denki, who had placed dead last in the midterm rankings, screamed along with Mina, who only placed one spot higher, "I'VE BARELY EVEN TAKEN NOTES THIS SEMESTER!" Mina stared laughing as Denki continued talking. "With the sports festival and internship, I didn't have time to read the textbook."

I rolled my eyes, "Denki, calm down." Then I turned back to my conversation with Momo.

I overheard the rest of what was going on in the classroom however. Tokoyami, who had placed 15th in the midterm ranking, piped up, "It's true that we haven't had very much free time lately."

Sato, who ranked 13th, spoke to Koda, who ranked 12th. "We'd barely learned anything when we took our midterms so they didn't seem all that hard but I'm kinda worried about these. We've been through a lot, and they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us."

Mineta turned around cockily, "As someone ranked in the top ten, I'm not that concerned." I rolled my eyes, "You only ranked at tenth, dumbass." He turned to me, "Hey! That's still in the top ten!"
