Chapter 29

(F/N) POV)

Bakugo and I were left alone for the time being, seeing as the members of the League had left to have a chat.

Bakugo didn't even shoot me a glance, "Oi, are you okay?"

It was in that moment that I realized I was hyperventilating. I pursed my lips, and started to regulate my breathing. I shook my head, "No, no I'm not." Bakugo only shook his head, "I can tell. (F/N), does this have to do with what Midnight mentioned? About your parents?" I nodded, "Yeah, it is. I'll explain it when we get out of here."

Bakugo smiled, "Good. I was beginning to thing you gave up."

I smiled to myself, Since when has he been nice?

Bakugo looked down, and it was then that the League of Villains walked back through the door, a menacing grin on all of their faces.

(Sero POV)

I was sprinting down the hall. There was nothing that could stop me. Not even the nurses yelling, "No running!" or "You're disrupting the patients!" was going to make me slow down. 

I had to save her.

If I lose (F/N) to the League I think I would drive myself mad.

When I reached the entrance, I whipped open the doors. Midoriya, Iida, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu were on the other side, and they were about to head out. I shouted out to them, "WAIT! I'M GOING TOO!"

Iida smiled, "Let's go save them. All of us."

With that, we walked away into the night. 

(F/N) POV)

Shigaraki sneered, "I'll ask you two one more time, (L/N) (F/N) and Katsuki Bakugo. Aspiring heroes. Will you join the League of Villains?"

Bakugo's expression changed drastically, "Go throw yourself into traffic." I nodded, "Yeah, we would rather die than join the likes of you!"

Toga laughed, "Feisty little fuckers you two are! Shiggy, I like them!" Dabi nodded, "I agree. I think they'll be great additions to the team."

I arched a brow, "Didn't you just hear us? We said no."

Shigaraki pulled the hand away from his face, revealing what he looks like under his mask. I whispered to Bakugo, "I think he needs chapstick more than he needs us." 

Bakugo held back a laugh, "Shut up, we'd be in even more danger if he heard that."

Shigaraki got in our faces, "Oh we heard you alright. But I think you aren't hearing us. By the end of the night, you two will be members of the League; by capitulation or by other means."

(Sero POV)

Iida stopped us in the middle of our walk, "Midoriya." As the freckled-kid turned around, Iida continued his speech, "I shouldn't have hit you back there. I'm sorry, forgive me."

I nudged Todoroki, "Did I miss a chapter or...?"

He only shook his head, "Iida was trying to cram a little sense into Midoriya's brain, that's all." I nodded, and Yaoyorozu took over the conversation, "I have some concerns, Iida. What exactly is your justification for changing your mind and joining us? You too, Sero. Not that I mind, the more help we can get the better it's just-" "Hey, it's fine, you don't need to apologize!" Midoriya cut her off. 

Iida stood up from the bowing position he was in, "To be clear, I'm coming because I don't condone your behavior. It's as simple as that. If there's even a hint that physical combat might break out, I'll make you retreat immediately. So in other words, I'm your watchman!"
