Chapter 14

(F/N) POV)

I woke up in a cold sweat again, no surprise there.

With internships today, my nightmares have been getting worse and worse. I sat up in my bed and reached for my water bottle, taking a sip.

I sighed as I got up and got ready for the day.

After I had on my UA uniform, I walked down the hallway to Denki's room and pounded on the door. "WAKEY WAKEY, EGGS AND BAKEY!!!!"

I heard a crash come from his room, and then the door opened to reveal a disheveled Denki. "What the hell?! I need my beauty sleep! I WILL zap you!"

I rolled my eyes, "Go ahead and try," I pulled a little lightning from my finger, "I have electrical powers too!"

"Oh screw off, Jolteon!" He gave me the middle finger.

Laughing, I shut his door again, "Hurry up, Pikachu! We have internships today!"

"WAIT WE DO!?!"

I chuckled at my friend, who was more like a brother.

(Time Skip)

Jirou was the last one to get to the station, waving towards us as she sprinted to our class.

Mr. Aizawa spoke up, "Now that Jirou's here, does everyone have their costumes? Remember, you don't have permission to wear them out in public yet, and don't lose them or anything."

Mina smiled brightly as she held her costume high, "Gotcha!"

Mr. Aizawa scolded her, "Speak properly! It's 'yes sir,' Ashido."

Mina deflated, "Yes sir..."

Mr. Aizawa continued, "Make sure you mind your manners with the other heroes during your internships. Now, get to it."

With a collective, "Yes sir" we were off.

I followed Todoroki to the train we were going to. He ended up going to Endeavor's agency too, which wasn't really surprising. As we took our seats next to one another, I poked his arm.

He didn't even look at me, "Hmm?"

"Well, Todoroki," I sighed, "I may have overheard what you said to Midoriya during the sports festival."

He turned his head, "Oh? How much did you hear?"

"From the 'secret love child' comment." I laughed.

He shook his head, "Not one of my finest moments, (L/N)-san."

I smiled, "You know, everyone calls me (F/N), you should too." He looked up, "Okay then, (F/N). You know about what Endeavor's done then?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I heard that much. If it makes you feel better, I can tell you what happened to me."

He sighed, "Only if you're comfortable with it, I suppose."

I sighed, "Okay then, I'll let you in on my secret."

When I was finished telling him, his expression had changed drastically. I'm surprised that I made him show any emotion at all, but it looked like he'd unhinged his jaw. His jaw was hanging open, "Um, okay, you win. Have you ever thought about telling the class?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I want to tell them at one point. Right now, it's only you and Denki who know." He nodded, "Okay, I won't tell anyone until you're ready to."

I smiled lightly, "Thanks, Todoroki."

He nodded as our stop came up, "So, is it safe to assume that's why you freaked out during the USJ attack?"
