ーWALKING out of
Wangsheng Funeral Parlor with Zhongli, you both agreed on getting dinner. You insisted on the Ferrylady to come with you both, but she insisted that she stay at the Funeral Parlor for a while. Although that deflated your mood a bit, you still stayed in a good mood because at least you had Zhongli to accompany you.
After your small dinner with your fellow Mora-averse consultant, you both went your ways. Once opening the door to your home, you went and changed to your sleep attire. Dropping yourself on your bed, you lazily picked up the book you were reading the other day.
Hearing the door to the bathroom open and shut ripped your eyes from the book. Looking up, your eyes clashed with dull blue eyes. Instantly smiling at the boy, you made grabbing motions with your hands. Enveloping your lover in a bear hug, you both fell on the mattress. Rolling around for a bit, you hid your face in the crook of his neck. Hearing Childe let out an airy laugh, you buried your face deeper.
"How'd work go today?"
"Went well, got off early. You?"
"Same thing every day, but I had a bit of free time to roam around the city. Ended up hanging around with the traveller."
"Really? It's been a while Lumine and I have spoken, hope I have the chance to soon."
Laying in each other's arms was nice, remembering the mischievous plan you devised with Paimon, you decided to put it into action.
Peeking from his neck to look at his face, you slowly unravelled yourself from him.
"Childe."
"Yeah?"
"You know what I've been thinking about lately?"
"What're you thinking? On second thought, you always have crazy thoughts aha."
As an airy laugh escaped his lips, you spoke once more.
"Isn't it so crazy that we've been dating for four years?"
"Yeah, I was actually saying the other d- Wait, did you say four??"
Suppressing a laugh from escaping your lips, you just saw how confused your lover was.
"Yeah, four is a long time."
Seeing how he became serious slowly, you tried to keep a straight face.
"But we've been dating for six. Where'd the last two years go? Not like they grew legs and ran away." He said sarcastically at the end.
"Are you sure it's not four."
"Four?? Did those two years mean nothing to you? Six."
Finally deciding to let that very much suppressed laughter out, you practically had tears in your eyes and were on the edge of wheezing.
"I-I'm so-sorry, y-y-your face looked so confused!" You managed to wheeze out.
"You were fooling around with me, huh. You know what-"
"I knew I had this coming!!" So, you immediately sprinted out of your shared bedroom. Childe hot on your feet. Managing to dodge the many items in your way, you threw your head around your shoulder. Seeing no one, you thought nothing of it. Turning back around, you let out an 'oof'. Hearing a 'Caught you~' being whispered into your ear sent shivers down your spine. Feeling Childe throw you onto his back, you decided to joke around for a bit.
"Hey, Childe, let me down. And one more thing, nice ass."
Hearing him laugh made you happy.
"Likewise, darling."
You both then irrupted into a giggling fit.
