walking around the campus, Aether came up to you. Lumine followed, having a camera in hand. It seemed like they were doing something.
"y/n-senpai, are you a cat or dog person?"
"Hmm, I think I prefer cats."

. Barbara and Xingiu just comforted Xiangling and Amber, as no one said "Baron Bunny" or "Guoba". But, they weren't options, the twins were asking for only cats and dogs.
In the Healing Ward, Aether and Jean go and visit Diluc as he was eating. Sucrose asks what's going on between Aether and Childe. But, he claims that he wasn't being himself at that moment. Aether expresses relief as Diluc isn't seriously hurt, but tries to lighten him up by saying that he can now eat. Diluc complains and asks if there was anything easier to digest. But, Jean just tells him to not complain and eat.
Diluc then says, "I was able to get off easier since I was drained of cursed energy. And that allowed Barbara, who was surprisingly really skilled, to remove the bud."
Diluc then tells Aether that he's gotten stronger. Childe then pops out and says that he expects his brother's friend to surpass him so that they could then fight. Aether then noticed Childe, runs out of the Ward. Leaving Childe, he then runs after him and asks him where he's going. Aether states that his mindset wasn't normal at the time, and leaves again.

The following day, your teacher meets up with you all to decide whether or not they should continue the Exchange Event. A lot of stuff went down during the event, so you were all hesitant about this. Childe then said that they should continue, going off to list out multiple reasonable reasons. You then agreed with the point he made, which resulted in you all agreeing in continuing the event. Your teacher then removes the individual part of the event and has Aether pick out a group event randomly.
Aether went with baseball, surprising both schools, seeing at the principal's were trying to keep the tradition.
The game begins with Xiangling batting, meanwhile, Keqing and Hu Tao argue about the rules. Mona then trying to calm them down. Xiao then comes up to bat next and asks Aether why he decided to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer.
Aether then explains that when his sister leaves him, he wants to try to help as many people so that he won't die alone. Xiao could agree with this, as he became one to help his grandparents. Shocked, he didn't bat. And is struck out by Bennett.
The teams then switch sides. Lisa goes up to bat first, while Ningguang pitches. Knowing that the opposing side had an advantage, it rubbed her the wrong way. Lisa then goes off to first base, confronting Keqing. Diluc sacrifices himself on a bunt so Lisa can move up a base, while Razor and Albedo contribute. And they help the team appear to score three runs. But, Hu Tao catches Albedo's ball.
The Mond students argue that they cheated and Childe then stepped up to bat. He wants to face Aether, who's the pitcher, and that annoys Sucrose. She then appears to strike him in the face with the ball. Practically everyone congratulates her on the pitch, and Aether realizes how much they don't like Childe. Wow, okay, that hit hard-
As the game went on, both principals speak of Aether. Liyue's principal admits that they don't hate him, it's that the rules mean that his presence can't be overlooked. Since the curse he houses can cause mass havoc and death, he believes that Aether can save even more lives as a potential sorcerer.
As the game to a close, Aether hits a home run. Which helps Lumine score. The Annual Liyue Exchange Event finally has come to a close, Mondstadt as its winner... for this year that is.

Stretching, hair framed your face as sweat clung to your face as well, you rolled your shoulders. From a distance, you could already see Sucrose scolding Aether. Seems like she found out he broke it- Albedo just tried to calm the girl down. It seems like the Liyue students were permitted to stay here for a week or so. Seems like all of a sudden, we all got along.
Also, it seemed like they gave you a week of rest! So that's nice. You were probably just going to laze around, as usual. Lmao, what a fucking mood- As we all were talking, someone tapped your shoulder. Turning your head slightly, you saw that it was Cyno. Cocking your head to the side, you asked him if there was anything he needed.
He just tugged at your hand, pulling you along to wherever he was going. Just going with it, you didn't protest. Heading to the dorms, you both took off your shoes. Walking towards Cyno's room, once there, he took out a box from under his bed. Handing it to you, you looked at the box, confused. Undoing the satin ribbon, you took off the lid of the box. Inside of it was a piece of jewellery. A necklace with a small sunflower lavalière. Smiling tinily at the necklace, you took it in your hands. Letting it dangle off your finger, you admired it.
As you were about to put it back into the box and tie it back up with the satin ribbon, Cyno stopped you by holding your hand. Not me blushing at this ///v/// He took the necklace from your hand and unclasped it. Rounding you, he then placed the necklace over your neck and clasped it.

i finally got to work on it-my brain juice really went 'adios'just after i finished the last sentence.
