ーTRYING to balance
all the bags on your knee as you pressed the floor level of the complex. Being able to sling them on your arms, you shifted from one foot to another. The elevator dinged as you went down several floors.
Tapping your foot, the elevator dinged and the doors automatically opened. Fishing your phone from your pant's pocket, you unlocked it. As the taxi driver came around, you got it and gave them the directions to where you were headed. Setting the bad downs next to you, you looked out the window. About 15-20 minutes later, you saw the all-too-familiar building. Paying the driver, you got your bags and got out.
Slinging them back on your arms, you rounded the building. As you rounded the building, three kids ran past you. Moving to the side so you wouldn't get runned over, someone called out to you. Walking towards the source of the sound, your eyes met with dull ocean blue eyes.
Ajax grinned as he saw you. Once you were close, he helped you with the bags you had. Placing them inside, you both went back outside. Sitting on the steps of the porch, the same three kids came running back in this direction. Ajax, as he saw them, told them,
"Tonia, Anthon, Teucer, aren't you three going to greet y/n?"
Teucer's eyes lit up, his tiny legs carrying his body as he ran up to you. Giddily jumping up and down, he leaned forward and asked you if you brought more Mr. Cyclopses. Omg 😭😭😭 bye, this is cute as hell-- kjsbdiuasbdiua Grinning and patting his head, you got up and went inside. Bringing out one of the bags you had, you sat back down and opened it.
Teucer peeked and was ecstatic. Seeing lots of felt and plush Mr. Cyclopses, he waited for you to beckon him to get one since it would be bad mannerisms to just snatch one. Giving the young boy one of the plush Mr. Cyclopses, he hugged it close. His small hand tugged you towards the inside of the home. Tonia, Anthon, and Ajax following in tow.
Teucer then showed you all the Mr. Cyclopses he had, adding the new one you gave him. Putting his hands on his hips, he stated, "Soon, I'll have an entire army of Mr. Cyclopses!" Giggling, you ruffled the boy's hair and told him that one day he would.
Teucer and Anthon were watching a movie in the living room. Tonia and you were in her room, she asked if you could do her hair. Knowing you pinky promised her last time, you then went to do her hair. She just wanted it in a simple braid. Sectioning her hair in three, you began to interweave them. You and Tonia talked so it wouldn't be silent.
"y/n, what's it like to be in love?"
"In love? Well, your stomach feels weird, but you like the feeling. It takes time, but you want it. Your heart rate increases, but, not to the point you feel like you're dying and it's going to burst. Why do you ask, Tonia?"
Although you couldn't see the girl, she twidled her thumbs together, "There's this boy in my class, and my stomach feels funny when I'm around him.."
Thinking a bit about it, you told her, "Well... You can't really be certain you're into him.."
Making sure that Anthon, Tonia, and Teucer were now sleeping you made your way to the kitchen. Ajax, with his head in his hands, rested on his elbows. Worried, you arched your brow and asked him if he was okay. Lifting his head from his hands, he had this smug smirk plastered on his face. Resting across from him, you asked him, "What's up?"
"Hm, nothing. Just thinking how much of a good wife and mother you'd make." Not me actually feeling flustered and getting red at this, aha-
Your eyes widened a bit, you cleared your throat.
"Well, for one, what makes you think I can take care of children if I can barely take care of myself? Plus, why do you think I'd be a good mom and wife?"
Ajax stood up, stretching and yawning a bit. His dull ocean eyes lit up.
