ーWALKING down the dimly lit
alleyways, you had your hands in your pockets. The Neon lights of some of the signs bouncing off your body onto the small pools of water. Walking, water droplets hung onto the rim of your loose jeans. Shoes wet from the water, you continued to walk. Wanting to get to the rendezvous already, you broke out into a light sprint.
The hood of your sweater and the extra part of your shoelaces moved along with your movements. Turning a corner, you entered another alleyway that led to a dead-end, near an abandoned building. Seeing a lit steel barrel that was eroded, you confirmed that this was the rendezvous.
Your now-muddied shoes left tracks as you walked. Seeing a blob of dark hair with teal undertones, you waved and called out to him. Seeing his head perk up from his phone, he smiled a tiny smile at you. As you got close, he ruffled your hair.
"Hey n/n, you here for Chongyun and Xingqiu?" Xiao asked you as he arched his eyebrow.
You nodded your head and let out an 'mhm'. Xiao went back to his phone, scrolling through an email.
"I assume you got another job?" you asked the much older boy.
"Yeah, Zhongli gave me the contract for it already," he told you, not once looking up from his phone. His hand just rested at the crown of your head. Putting his phone inside his pocket, he got up. He grabbed his case where his polearm was and put on his mask. As you waved goodbye, you went inside the building as he was out of the line of sight. The old doors creaked open, the wood boards creaking at any slight movement. Passing the musty, colourful halls that were almost filled with any sort of posters, you went up the spiral staircase. Knocking on the opened door, Ajax, who had one of the windows open, turned around. Putting out the cigarette with the heel of his shoe, you told him.
"Ajax, you know it's unhealthy to smoke. And if you set this building on fucking fire-"
"What're you gonna do? Bite my knees off?"
Rolling your eyes, you retorted, "Fuck off."
You then plopped yourself down onto the couch.

Hearing loud footsteps and talking, you peeled your eyes open. Getting into a sitting position on the couch, your eyes went to the open door. Seeing three different colour shades of blue, you blinked. Xiangling immediately went to sit next to you, Xingqiu just sat on the armrest next to Xiangling, and Chongyun sat between your knees as he rests his head on your lap.
Ruffling his baby blue locks, he was grateful that your body was always cold. If it wasn't, he probably would've already overheated and gone off on one of his episodes. Xiangling gasped, almost scaring you half to death. Xingqiu asked her what was wrong.
"I just remembered I cooked something and left it in the other room! I'll go get it!" Xiangling exclaimed as she went off into the other room. Xingqiu then got up and sat on the couch.
Xiangling came back into the room with 4 bowls and 3 pairs of chopsticks and a fork. She handed the fork and a bowl to Ajax, and the rest of the bowls to you guys as well as the chopsticks. As you three ate, Chongyun finished and set the bowl and chopsticks to the side. After finishing the bowl of food, you set the bowl and chopsticks to the side, next to Chongyun and Xingqiu's. Ajax then dismissed himself, saying that he had to go take care of Teucer, Tonia, and Anthon.
As you were gonna go help Xiangling clean up and wash the dirtied bowls and utensils, Chongyun latched onto you. Looking down at him, you wanted to just tell him how adorable he looked. Xingqiu just took the bowls from your hands and went over to Xiangling to help her. Sitting back down, you patted his head. Chongyun then came to sit next to you, still latched onto your side.
"You're really colddd-" Chongyun said, his words held a slight slur.
Laughing a bit at this, you told him to go to sleep. KNowing with a good rest, he'd get over the episode. He just shook his head 'no' and peppered your face with light kisses. Laughing again, you slightly distanced your face from his. Xingqiu came back into the room and saw you slightly struggling with Chongyun. You called out to the boy.
"Xingqiu, help me-"
"Do you want me to knock him out for you?"
"What- nO-"

Finally setting Chongyun to rest, with a bit of a struggle. You, Xingqiu, and Xiangling went up to the roof. You three laid down.
After a few minutes of just laying down in silence, the rusty steel door opened and shut with a click. Hearing Xingqiu say 'Hey Chongyun', you turned around. Chongyun rubbed his head, a bit drowsy.
"Did I do anything rash while I was out?"
"Well, not really," you three said simultaneously.
Xiangling then shrugged her shoulders, "I mean, you did try to kiss n/n multiple times."
You and Chongyun got flustered at this.
