She wakes up with small kisses planted on her bump. A view of him talking to their little ones fluttered her heart with their Eli snuggled to her side - her best view of them. It feels like living the dream she thought was implausible. She turned her back at this before, shrugged off the thought of it. With all the heartaches she had, pain that she outbraved, and shattered hopes and dreams, she claimed the fact that having family of her own was just a fiction. Nobody was there when she needed someone. No one stayed with her when things went downhill but she learned to get the hang of it. It's just her after all. But when he came into her lonesome world, life has its different meaning. She dredged up the slight hope that it's probably him.
And, looking at those eyes glimmer at her, she finally found the one she waited for so long.
"Did I wake you up?", he plastered on a sweet smile upon moving back to her side.
"You three woke me up", she lifted a brow that made him chuckle.
He kisses her forehead, "We're so sorry, mommy. I woke up seeing them kicking eh. When I talked to them, mas lalong naglililikot"
"Bakit pag ako kumakausap sa kanila, tumitigil kakasipa?"
He laughed, "Baka naman kase pinapagalitan mo"
"I talk to them, babe. Magkaiba yun"
"I'm just jesting around. Ang seryoso mo. Nabitin ka ata kagabi eh", he gave a peck on her head.
She hit his shoulder, "We have a sleeping child next to us, babe. Mamaya ka na lumandi"
His gaze falls down the beauty of her as silence sets in the room. Eyes linger to each other's sight with thoughts of love plaster upon their gaze. No words could express the emotions they both have. Though things in between are tough at times but he learned a lot from it all. Fatherhood is the best job he had in life and he won't get tired of it. But there's one thing he hasn't reach yet - being a husband to the woman he cherishes and adores in life.
He intertwines their fingers, "I'll get to know the court result this week, babe. I hope we can get married before you give birth. Kaso nga lang I might not give you the grandest wedding that you deserve and I'm so sorry for that, babe"
"Ags, it's not about the grand wedding. We don't need it. A simple one will do. For as long as we got each other's back, that's the most important thing. And I want to apologise for making you feel that I didn't notice your effort. Babe, you've been such a good dad to our kids. I can see those sleepless nights you spent, your tiredness from work, and everything you do for us. We are so proud of you, daddy", she gave him a quick kiss.
It's all he needed to hear. Lea gave him a new meaning of love. She taught him a lot in life. Behind the past she had is a woman with so much to offer and he could see how lucky he is for having her.
"Ang sarap non ah", he jested and that earned him another hit. Her sweet smile melts him and he loses his control. Despite the swelling belly of his woman, she never failed to unleash the wildness in him. Pregnancy blooms her even more that he wards her off from those staring men around whenever they hit the road. But he can't blame them. Lea is the prettiest in his eyes.
As they share a sweet kiss, both of them startled when someone broke their moment.
"Mommy? Daddy?", Eli groans with droopy eyes upon seeing her parents kissing.
Lea whispers a blame at her man, "Ang landi mo kase". And Aga couldn't take a hold of himself as he let out a laugh.
Lea peppers their first born a good morning kisses. "Good morning, baby"
