Both of them are soaking wet. Lea feels him fondle her back as he nibbles her lip for access. It sends a shiver down her spine. She never knew the yearning for his touch until she feels him again—skin to skin. The night breeze is all but reciprocated by the warmth of their bodies. His kiss brings back a thousand memories that she thought were all but gone, and her heart contradicts her thoughts. It is wrong on so many levels. She should push him—show him that she is over this feeling—but her lips move of their own volition. Her body knuckles under his touch, relinquishing all her defenses. She kisses him in return with raindrops drenched all over them. It would be a fabrication if she denies the truth that after all the pain and teardrops from the past... it is still him. It is still the same man that her heart beats for.
But she wakes up to a realization. It is all over and gone. This time is no longer theirs. He belongs to someone else already. His heart and mind belong to Luisa from the start, and she was only his option rather than his priority.
Lea jostles him with all her might. "Aga, ano ba?! What are you doing?!"
"Lea, mahal parin kita"
She chuckles bitterly, "Would you please drop it?! Kailanman hindi mo ko minahal! Why are you here?! Nagkaintindihan na tayo diba?!"
He smirks, running his fingers through his hair, "I don't need to ask you. I get it"
His grin pisses her off, "You get, what?!"
"Mahal mo parin ako, Lea. I knew it! I can feel it!", he chuckles.
"Are you going nuts?! Aga, umalis ka na!", she turns her back before tears begin to drift down her face, but Aga is adamant.
"Then why did you kiss me back?", he taunts her.
She halts with that same question running back and forth in her mind. Why did I kiss him back? Lea, why did you do that?!
Upon seeing her adhered to that stance, Aga pulls her to face him, "Dahil mahal mo parin ako! Am I right? Is that it, Lei? You miss me, too. You miss us. Lea, mahal parin kita. I can't fight this anymore! Ayoko na, babes. Ayoko ng malayo pa sayo"
"Ano bang pinagsasabi mo?!", she withdraws from his grip. "All of a sudden you came here only to bother me! Aga, tapos na tayo! Pamilyado ka na! Do I have to say this over and over again?! Tigilan mo na kami! Tigilan mo na ako, Aga! Tama na utang na loob! Napapagod na ako kakalayo sayo pero lapit ka parin ng lapit! What else do you want from me?! Binigay ko na lahat lahat sayo! Sinuko ko na yung buong pagkatao ko sayo! Wala na, Ags. Wala ng natitira pa sakin kundi si Eli na lang"
The waterworks begin, and Aga wipes off the tears and raindrops falling down her face. It evidently shows the pain he caused, and he takes the blame. But he will never let this chance slip through his hands again. He will take all risks. "Then stop running away and come back to me, babes. Ayusin natin to. Lea, isusuko ko lahat ng meron ako ngayon if that's what it takes just to have you back. Makikipaghiwalay ako kay Luisa. Babes, she lied to me. Sinira niya tayo. Alli is not mine. She .... she devised all of this"
She feels weakened by it. A flurry of doubts flourishes within her. She wants to vent, but instead, tears are all that she can release.
"Babes, please. I am asking for another chance. Ikaw yung mahal ko noon pa man. It's not Luisa. I was just caught between my responsibility to Alli and my feelings for you. Wala akong ibang choice kundi pakasalan siya. Hinanap kita. Believe me, babe. Pag uwi ko ng Pilipinas, I was .... hoping to glance at you again. Umasa ako na sa pagbalik ko sa campus nandon ka parin. Kung alam ko lang, Lei. Kung alam ko lang na buntis ka, I would've chosen you. Lea, pipiliin kita dahil mahal kita. I am so sorry for leaving you behind. For hurting you, babes. I'm so sorry. Nagsisisi ako. Ang gago ko for believing them while not hearing your cries. Babes, patawarin mo ko", he bends down on his knees with tears falling from his eyes and the throbbing pain of his injury, but he could care less. Lea gasps at the sight.
