She quickens her pace to the sink upon getting through her house.

There she barfs all out, nearly teeming her guts. Almost a month, if she's not mistaken, that she feels sick once in a while, but she disregards it. In spite of a hint growing in her, she goes on her diurnal routine though it encompasses worry in her heart. Her life is a mess. Having a young life in her belly would yield a storm rather than a ray of shine in her life. She is a fiasco rebuilding her nth time ruined life. But she can't as well be tuned out from the possibility. She passed over it in purpose-until tonight. It boils her down to a decision: confirm it. With trembles and worries, she yanks at the drawer to withdraw a tool. It holds the upshot of her weakness and life mishaps.

She lets out a waft of fright and solicitude as she flips over the result.

Her heart skips a beat and words get lost along the way. She pins herself against the wall for assistance, crying her heart out. In just a snap, her world hinders revolving. She didn't see it coming. Not now. Tears roll down her face restlessly as emotions brim from her like a river with no end.

She feebly slumps onto the floor as she lets it all out. It's breaking her apart. She f-cked up. She can't be a mother to this child while her life is in misery. A mother should furnish her child with love-something she doesn't have. An affection that she's deprived of. When her mom died, she passed over the feeling of a mother's tender touch. A loving presence of a woman who nurtured her, showed her the world, was all but gone. Her memory of them is akin to an old photograph-faded and crippled.

"Ang tanga mo, Lea. Ang tanga tanga mo! Nagpabuntis ka pa talaga!", she rebukes herself. Motherhood was once her dream. Top of her list. If only fate wasn't cruel, she could've been brimming with joy. The past would perpetually linger at her. It plays a huge role wherever life brings her, and so pusillanimity springs up.

He wakes up next to a deserted side.

Tears and begs of a woman he loves recur. That was a d-ck move. He lets out a deep sigh as his forceful infliction towards her plays in a montage through his mind. A flurry of jealousy and anger overruled him, and conscience is gnawing at him now. He should've drummed up ways to win her back rather than being such an asshole, but his suspicion of her flourished. She is a vamp, like what his friends blurted out. At first, he was hesitant. Lea is the woman who caught his eyes and fluttered his heart. Someone who took his breath away just when he thought Luisa was irreplaceable. But seeing Gary kissing her swiped away his hesitation. It validates his doubts.

He gets up to check on his phone that keeps on incessant ringing. "Ma?"

"Where are you?! Are you with that woman again?! Luisa needs you, Aga! We rushed her to the hospital. Kanina ka pa namin tinatawagan but you're not picking up your damn phone!"
