Morning kicks in with peppered kisses woke her up. She couldn't call to mind her last waking up with so much happiness inside. It feels like the first time despite the fact that waking up next to a naked man was part of her job long time ago. His lips land against hers - gentle and loving. She gave in to his caress and kisses, surrendered all her defenses. Her body felt weaken by his touch, defenseless.

She pulls away, slithers an arm around his waist, "Babes? What will happen next to us now?"

"I haven't told you yet but I resigned already before coming here, babes"

Lea looks puzzled from his words, "What do you mean resign, babes? You gave up your position?"

"Yes. Mom doesn't approve the annulment. She even wants to confirm if Eli is really mine. You knew her, masyadong perfectionist. But, of course, things are different now. I have you and Eli. You are my family, babes. I'd rather lose anything than losing the both of you. Kayo yung buhay ko, Lei. My strength and weakness"

Lea went silent, disbelief flurries her. It was beyond what she expected from him. Giving up his profession just for them is beyond belief but she couldn't contain her happiness upon knowing it. It is a visible evidence of his persistence to make up his shortcomings.

Lea gawked from it, "What?! All this time he knew where we were?"

He nodded, "He talked to the school owner for Eli's scholarship. Hindi niya sinabi sakin ang tungkol sa inyo because it was what you wanted"

Lea dredged up memories of that day Don Arnaldo came to see her. Her mind had decided to leave Aga. It was the best choice back then. Truly, his dad hid the fact about Eli from Aga just the way she asked him.

"... But I have decided to end it up, babes. Ayoko namang iasa pa kay dad ang pagpapaaral kay Eli. Di ko pa nasasabi kay dad because I want to let you know about it first", he added.

"You're her father, babes. If you think it's for the best, then do it. You have point. We could not start a new life kung aasa tayo sa iba. Besides, had I known that your dad was the one behind it, I should've declined Eli's scholarship. I have told him back then that I was not after your wealth. Tapos malalaman ko na lang na all these years, pinapag aral niya si Eli"

"Well, that's exactly his point. Alam niyang tatanggi ka. He felt guilty in hiding the truth from me kaya gusto niyang makabawi man lang. I couldn't blame him. In fact, I should be thankful. He was there for Eli while I'm being blinded by Luisa", he gave a peck on her forehead.

"Tapos na yun, babes. Let's not talk about it"

She couldn't resist herself from kissing him. It was like a dream. Her heart is full, nearly exploding. Aga is the man she's been waiting for so long. They may have a tough start but he is her last. A man she knew is a match made from Heaven for her.
