Despite Lea's strict orders to stay away from the past, Eli finds herself drawn to her father. Day after day, Aga visits her at school. They share stolen moments of conversation, and afterward, he stays back, snatching distant glances at Lea from the safety of the shadows.

He is a man torn apart. One side of him is filled with an overwhelming enthusiasm to be a father to Eli, while the other is lost in a dark abyss of doubt and heavy thoughts. He tries to pull himself together for Eli's sake. His daughter has begged him-pleaded with him-not to face her mother. She knows that seeing him would make Lea blow her top, and the mere thought of that explosion makes Eli tremble with fear.

But the urge to confront Lea pulls at Aga's heart and mind. He is waiting for the right time, a moment where the truth can finally breathe. While his wife and other daughter await his return, he finds he cannot leave. He cannot let Lea out of his sight again.

Back home, the atmosphere is suffocating. Luisa lashes out at him in anger, her voice sharp and demanding, but Aga barely hears her anymore. Arguments have become a usual part of their day, a repetitive cycle of bitterness that no longer moves him.

In a family built on expectations and cold silences, Don Arnaldo is the only one Aga can truly count on. After meeting Eli, Aga finally calls his father to confide the truth.

On the other end of the line, Don Arnaldo feels a wave of guilt wash over him. It flourishes in his chest, heavy and painful. He wonders: What could have happened if I had just told him the truth years ago?

Don Arnaldo knows that simply granting a scholarship is no longer enough. For years, he has watched them from afar. He was clued into Lea's domicile years ago when Eli was only in the fifth grade. Driven by the longing to see his grandchild, he had devised the scholarship as a way to stay connected while leaving Lea none the wiser.

He is so proud of Eli. Hearing of her achievements feels like a balm to his conscience. He promises himself that he will continue to provide for everything Eli needs for school. By doing this, he finally feels a sense of fulfillment-not just as a businessman or a father, but as a grandfather who is trying to make things right.
