I was alone thinking I was just fine
I wasn't looking for anyone to be mine
I thought love was just a fabrication
A train that wouldn't stop at my station
Home, alone, that was my consignment
Solitary confinement
So when we met I was skirting around...
As we're heading to the nearly end chapter of TIFY, I'd like to put a smile on your face for each remaining chapter. I know some of you treat Wattpad as an escape from a stressful day and I don't want my updates to add loads in your hearts (maybe sa ibang story updates ko na lang hehehehe charot!)
Hope you enjoy the few remaining ones. ❤

Lea, her friends, and their partners finally decide to escape the city for a much-needed day break. With classes officially over, the kids have all the time in the world to run wild and have fun. Truth be told, it feels like the first time in forever that Lea has stepped out from the comfort of their home. Knowing the sensitivity of her pregnancy, Aga has become incredibly stringent about her movements; he practically prohibits her from going anywhere without him. Each morning, he drops Eli off at school before taking Lea to her workplace. By afternoon, he’s already there to pick them up and drive them safely back home. Having a considerate boss plays a vital role in allowing him to fulfill these personal responsibilities.
Everything feels nearly perfect, save for the annulment process that stubbornly refuses to reach its end. They have been living together for seven months now, yet he remains legally tied to Luisa. The situation frustrates him more than he admits. Lea is currently in her first trimester, and while they navigate the complexities of their setup, he feels fortunate to have the most understanding woman by his side. She never once puts pressure on him.
She nods, a small smile playing on her lips. "Nearly two months. I wasn't expecting nga na makakabuo pa kami ulit eh. We’re already in our 40s."
"Kasi naman, Lei, baka inaaraw-araw niyo rin," Emma jests with a playful wink.
"Sira. Baka marinig ka ng mga bata," Lea responds, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson.
"Sus! Nahiya ka pa ah. Does Eli know?" Jason asks.
"Yes. She’s happy and excited."
"So, how is it naman? What did the doctor say?" Emma asks, leaning in closer.
"That’s another thing. Kakasimula ko pa nga lang sa trabaho eh, but the doctor told me to take a rest until I give birth. Buti nga napakiusapan ko pa si Aga to let me work until three months of pregnancy. Masyadong strikto eh. Halos ’di nga ako makalabas ng bahay. Ang daming bawal, but I can’t lose this job, especially now that we’re having another little one. Ang dami naming gastusin."
"Kaya niyo ’yan, Madam. We’re here for you. Just tell us what you need, tutulong naman kami eh," Jason assures her. They have never let her down, and in this moment, she feels incredibly lucky to have a circle that stays.
The young girls splash around and have fun swimming while Aga and Gab, Emma’s husband, keep a watchful eye on them alongside Jason’s partner. Catching sight of her man’s half-naked frame in his trunk shorts, Lea feels a sudden, intense warmth rush through her system. Her pregnancy hormones are making her feel a heightened attraction, and looking at him now, she finds it impossible to resist his aesthetics.
