She is occupied with school activities and exams the following weeks. Truth be told, being distant from him these days helps her to weigh things in. Her mind got absorbed by his presence that she got used to his loving attention. Her hesitation grows. It all happened so fast. He's that man who took care of her while she's drunk but she left being ungrateful. Just when she thought they'd never cross path again, he acquired the entire academy and put her through a catch-22 situation. She never thought that being his hired girlfriend would lead her to this. He has all the qualities she dreams seeing in a man but the past is holding her back. It woke her up to the impossibility of having him and so she halted herself from that fantasy.

Though he frequently sees her with Stephen but he knows their agreement about it. There's nothing else he could do but to just control himself even if sometimes he can't. Spending time together nowadays isn't part of their list as he as well got absorbed by workloads in and out of the academe. Nonetheless he assures to reach her through messages and calls, their sole moment together. The students in all levels are busy preparing for their program this afternoon. Upon settling his things in the office, he visits the busiest area in their campus. The assigned students are doing their rounds in decorating the stage while some are having their last minute rehearsal. Few teachers are present in the area to assure their students participation of the said program including Lea. He talks to a teacher while furtively glancing at Lea and Stephen who are both busy talking to some students. Apparently, she didn't notice his presence and so he has a perfect chance to watch them. His fist clenched upon seeing Stephen's arm finds comfort on her waist without looking over his shoulders. The teacher gives him information regarding the preparation of the program, she continues to blab while Aga listens in pretense. He wants to grab his arm around her and bends it in public but Lea would surely blow her top.

But, he won't just stand there and holds his temper for the rest of the day.

His feet lead his way to them, clearing throat upon reaching their spot. As long as he could recall, it's been days since the last time her presence is just inches away. He misses her. They greeted him then both Lea and Stephen shift gaze at the man behind them. She moved a bit from Stephen right before the war takes place. He fills in the gap between these two. Lea's plump lips formed a sweet smile upon seeing him.

"Good morning, too. So how's the preparation so far, Ms. Salazar?", he asked.

"Everything is fine, Sir. Our students are cooperative as usual", she smiles at him upon feeling his warm hand filling in the spaces of her fingers. He holds her hand behind her, secretly enjoying their little moment from those eyes around them.

"That's good to hear", he proudly smiled at everybody when Stephen's defeated countenance plastered.

"Sir, bagay po kayo ni Ma'am Lea", one student speaks up and so the rest teased them.
