The cold breeze sets in her bedroom. As he lays her down the comfort and softness of the bed, he fondled the beauty of her face. It never failed to take his breath away. She takes a deep breath when he went down her neck. This is not a new thing to her. In fact, she got used to it for so long with so many men that she lost count of but tonight's different. He is different. No matter how she tried to rescind this growing feeling, she always got defeated. It's wrong, she knows that but his affection enlivens her anticipation. Maybe it's him, the one she's been waiting for so long. But she can't erase the fear igniting in her heart. The past taught her many things in life, she's been through a lot of heartaches and bridging the wide gap between them is a risk. "But ... what if ... just what if I'm hiding a dark secret from my past?"

He laughed, "like what?"

"Like ...", she stares at his innocent eyes. If only he could hear the beating of her heart and read what's running in her mind. No secrets can be hidden forever but she can't find right words to say it. This isn't new to her and she's afraid to end up the same broken one as before. Of all heartaches in life, it has been only her who picked up each piece of her broken heart. Looking at his eyes, she feels unworthy of having him. A decent man falling for someone like her is way beyond impossible, she knows it. And if one day he knows the truth and decides to leave too - same thing as those men she loved before - she can't be sure to stand again on her own. She feels so tired fixing herself. But there's no one else she can put blame on. It's her who never gets tired of believing in love though she knows the truth - love isn't for her. This is her last straw, she tells herself. Though she's afraid to fall even deeper for him and finding herself nothing to land on one day.

"A-anything, babe. We all have something to leave in our past and not everyone around us can accept who we truly are", she tells him.

"Babe, it's all in your past now. It doesn't matter to me. Kahit ano pa yan, I don't care. You have me now, babe. You won't be alone anymore", he kisses her lips.

She responds to his kiss, pouring out all the emotions within her.
