Chapter 4

Atsumu POV
"I was in Itachiyama!" Wait WHAT! "Itachiyama? You went to a powerhouse school like that?" "Yup!" she said cheerfully. Ugh I'm so jealous. "How come we never heard about you? And how come we didn't know that you're the number one female libero in Japan?"

"Well me and dad went by a different name we were called l/n. That's probably why. Also I played in the girls team but we almost always had practice with the boys and we were a pretty good team. We were second from the girls at nationals last year."

"So you know all the tokyo teams?" I was curious and jealous at the same time. "Yup! We did a lot of practice matches with them! I don't think I'd be as good as I am without the help of Komori, Yaku, Komi and all the others!"

She sure is super enthusiastic. Ugh I'm so jealous. Wait no I'm really proud of her and happy for her. She must be really good and she clearly loves volleyball.

"Tsumu? Tsumu!"" Huh?" Why is Samu shaking my shoulder? "What do you want?" "Nothing it's just you were zoning out." I was? I guess I was lost in thought. Ugh I'm such a bad brother these are bad thoughts.

Y/n POV
"Hey y/n can you maybe train with me? I'm a libero too." It's the short boy. "Um sure but I don't know what I could teach you, you're already great! Like the way you received Aran's spike was so cool especially when it's so powerful!"

I'm kinda an omnivert so sometimes I can be super shy but sometimes really outgoing and I'm pretty good at making friends.

"Oh I'm sure you've seen much better spikes especially if you practiced with aces like Sakusa or Bokuto" the boy named Aran said sheepishly. "Ah don't sell yourself short you're really good from what I've seen."

"See Aran I told you you're really good! But noo you always just bring up people who 'could probably beat you in a battle against aces'" The short boy said putting the last bit in air quotes.

"Oh right I'm Akagi by the way! I just realised I know your name but you don't actually know any of ours."

"You know what maybe we should introduce ourselves." Someone new suddenly entered the conversation. I looked at their Jersey. Number two.

"That’s probably best Omimi. I'll start my name is Shinsuke Kita I'm a third year and the captain of the team." "Nice to meet you Kita-san!"
