Y/n POV
"I'm so glad it's finally lunch!" Mira groaned, lying across our lunch table across from me, before sitting up and stretching. "It felt like the morning would never end." She sighed.

I nodded in agreement, opting to listen to her complain while I continued to look over all the students walking around, eating lunch, chatting to each other, and searched for a glimpse of my brothers. Mira had other plans though and in her next sentence addressed me directly.

"So what did you think of your first morning here?" I blinked a few times. "It hasn't even been a day, isn't it a little early to judge?" I joked.

Mira tapped her chin and pretended to ponder the question for a moment. "Nah, I want to hear some nearly baseless opinions." She smiled and nudged me. "Come onn, what do you think of our classmates and our teachers!"

"Mira, I've only spoken to three of our classmates and I've met a grand total of four teachers. What do you want me to say? 'Oh, I don't know about Ginjima, he's kind of weird and I'm going to make that call despite having met him about two days ago?'"

"It's never too early to make that call about Gin. Besides he needs his friends to make fun of him sometimes. It keeps him humble." Mira was barely done speaking when she looked up past my head. Her smile melted of her face and she sighed. "Speaking of humble." She muttered barely audibly.

I turned around to be greeted with the now fairly familiar sight of one of my brothers. "Hi Atsumu! Do you want to eat lunch with us?" I asked him cheerfully. He sighed almost imperceptibly and grabbed a chair that he proceeded to sit down in.

"I was going to make you jump." He grumbled, more to himself than me or Mira. Mira just rolled her eyes at me with a smile. Then she turned to address Atsumu with a face nearly void of emotion.

Since I had met Mira, the smile had never left her eyes and everything she said sounded like she was laughing. When she spoke with Atsumu though, she had a cool and weirdly professional air about her and it seemed like her words had undertones that she could barely be bothered to mask.

"Sorry for ruining that for you." She spoke without too much remorse but moved on before she could be called out for it. "Anyway I don't think we've officially met. I'm sure I would've remembered if we had."

She muttered the last bit and I couldn't help but wonder why she seemingly didn't like Atsumu. Maybe she just thinks he's annoying? I guess she wouldn't be the only one, but I haven't seen anyone act this extreme around him.

Suddenly I realised it was silent at the table. I blinked once, twice. Then I was struck by the realisation. Right, introductions! "Oh, um, well Mira this is Atsumu, he's one of my brothers. And Atsumu this is Mira, she's in my class and she's also good friends with Ginjima."

Atsumu studied Mira for a second, skipping over her nearly open hostility with a half smile. "Yeah I think I've seen you with Gin before. We used to think he had a crush on you so we'd always tease him when we saw the two of you together." Mira gave him a forced smile. "Oh, you did?"

Through the entire exchange I had one prominent thought. I am uncomfortable with the energy at this table.

Akagi POV
At lunch I was the last of our teams third years to join the table. The four of us liked to eat lunch together since we were all in different classes and the only other time we could really speak at school was at volleyball practice.

"Hey guys!" I sat down next to Omimi and across from Kita and pulled my lunch out of my bag. They replied with their own quick greetings and Kita gave me a short summary of their conversation until now.

"Aran just asked about the plans we had for this weekend but we were waiting for you so we could all talk about it together." I nodded and took a bite of my sandwich. After I swallowed I started speaking.

"I assume Kita's explained already, but we thought, since the movie's in cinemas right now and we watched the first one together, it would be fun to watch the sequel together too. It's been a while since we really went out and did something as a group and since exam season is going to be in full swing two months from now, we could all use some time to just have fun with friends."

When I finished Kita jumped in adding the other part we had spoken about. "We also thought it would be nice to invite the team since some of them might have watched the first one too. We could all go together after training on Saturday, we checked and the movie's playing around an hour after training ends."

Aran and Omimi seemed open to the idea. "When does the movie end?" Omimi asked while he pulled out his phone to check his calender. Kita of course had the answer readily available. "Quarter past five."

I took a glance at Omimi's calender which was filled with all kinds of stuff I would probably just set out to remember and forget within ten minutes anyway. "Honestly Omimi, you're level of organisation." I gave a whistle and then nudged him. "You're almost on Kita's level." I teased and they both scoffed indignantly.

"Just because I'm not a scatterbrained ball of energy-" "Hey, what's that supposed to mean!" Omimi gave me a bone-chilling look but otherwise ignored me. "Anyway, I'm free then. Aran?" "Yeah Saturday's great! It's been a while since I went to watch a movie and it's always fun to do things with the team!"

I swallowed more of my food and smiled. "Alright, that's a solid plan then! Kita, do you want to ask everyone else at the end of training today?" Kita nodded and replied saying he would and the topic was left behind for later.

Ginjima POV
I was just walking through the halls to get to the place I usually like to eat my lunch, under the impression that the inside of the school building was practically empty. Throughout my time at Inarizaki I had rarely seen people at lunch who weren't in the cafeteria or going to the toilet.

In the past one and a half years I had only had six experiences in which someone else was spending their lunch inside the school building unexpectedly and I had only met three people who regularly did the same thing as me.

So I was reasonably surprised when I saw a lone person sat by themselves at the foot of a flight of stairs, their knees to their chest and not moving a muscle. I was even more surprised when I realised I recognised them.

Last time someone random was in the halls, I had found them crying against the wall and I had felt torn on what to do. How do you comfort someone you don't know? But this time I did know them and this time I didn't really hesitate before going to sit down next to him.

I took a deep breath and sighed. He barely reacted but I noticed him shift slightly and felt his eyes move to fix me in their gaze.

I tried to seem as relaxed as I could and smiled at him.

"Hey Suna. Mind if I sit here?"

A/N I'm sorry everything's so slow-paced. I'm excited to get to the bits that I find more interesting to write but this chapter is actually giving me a lot of inspiration. I hope you all have a great weekend and a happy Easter for those who celebrate it!
