Y/n POV
I stood in the kitchen, humming happily while I flipped pancakes. It was way too early to be making breakfast but I didn't care. I was too excited to be tired anyway.Atsumu's door creaked when I opened it. I peaked through the gap and saw Atsumu was still in his bed fast asleep. I cupped my mouth. "Psst! Atsumu wake up! We need to leave soon!" I whispered as loudly as I dared.
He mumbled something incomprehensible and turned away from the door that was letting light into his otherwise pitch black room.
I stepped in and closed the door slightly. "What was that?" I asked while I walked to the window and reached for the curtains. "It's too early." He grumbled, his words slurred but clearer than the first time.
I opened the curtains, which let in a little more light although the sun wasn't up yet. Atsumu buried his face in his pillow and I laughed at him while I made my way back to the door.
"Get up soon. You wouldn't want to be late to see your Omi." I teased with a grin before leaving the room and closing the door again.
Next I paid a quick visit to Osamu's room. "Hey Samu, are you already up- oh." I whispered while entering Osamu's room but stopped in my tracks. He was awake but still lying in his bed which wasn't unusual.
What surprised me was the fact that Suna was also there, sleeping next to Osamu with his head on his chest while Samu played with his hair.
Osamu stared at me and just shrugged. "Didn't realise Suna was here." I whispered, now careful not to wake him up. "Showed up some time last night." Samu answered, his attention already back on Suna, who looked more at ease than I had ever seen him before.
"You might have to wake him up soon." I informed him. "The train leaves in a little under an hour. I've made breakfast, so just come whenever you're ready." Osamu nodded in response and I left his room.
I yawned when I sat back down at the kitchen table. Ok, so maybe I was a little tired. It wasn't my fault, it wasn't even 5:30 yet. I pulled out my phone and texted Mira.
Are you awake yet?
You better not miss the trainWhile I waited for a response I took a pancake and poured a bit of sugar and cinnamon on it.
"Please tell me we have syrup." A groggy voice spoke from the kitchen door. I turned around to see Atsumu stumble in, his eyes still half-closed. I picked up the syrup and showed it to him before putting it back on the table.
"Cool, thanks." He answered before pouring syrup on his pancake and practically swallowing it whole in the next few seconds.
I let him eat all he wanted, I wasn't super hungry anyway. As long as he left enough for Osamu and Suna. Speaking of... "Where are Samu and Suna? I expected they'd come and eat soon" I wondered aloud.
Atsumu gave me a confused look. He swallowed the piece of pancake he was eating quickly and then asked. "Why's Suna here?" I just shrugged. "Samu just said he showed up at some point last night."
Neither of us were particularly used to Osamu's new relationship (and the PDA that came with it) yet, but as far as those two go, Suna randomly showing up at our house in the middle of the night to sleep here wasn't too weird.
"I mean, I mainly wonder how he got in without us noticing." I stated. "You two aren't very perceptive. Plus, you sleep like absolute rocks." We heard our brother's familiar voice from the door.
He walked to the table and sat down to eat with us. "Is Suna not going to eat breakfast with us?" Atsumu questioned and Osamu shook his head. "He'll be down in a second. He didn't sleep much last night, so he might take a little bit to wake up properly."
I nodded and continued to dig into my breakfast. "Make sure to eat enough before we leave. I don't want us to run out of snacks before we even get there." I warned the other two.
"It's fine, we won't." Atsumu assured with a calm wave of his hand. I checked the time and pushed myself away from the table. "Alright, I'm gonna go collect my things. Make sure we're all ready to leave in 20 minutes." I put my plate away and headed back upstairs.
Kita POV
The train station wasn't too full while I waited for my friends to arrive. I enjoyed the moment of serenity while I waited. Soon I heard familiar voices speaking and moments later spotted the Miya's and Suna approaching.I couldn't help the small smile that spread over my face. It was nice to get to go to Pride with my friends. A few years ago I could've never even imagined something like this.
"KITA! THERE YOU ARE!" A voice not belonging to the small group heading in my direction called out. "Hello Akagi." I said before I could even see him.
He sighed in relief when he reached me. "I'm so glad I didn't miss the train. It was a close one right?"I checked the time for a moment. "The train only leaves in 12 minutes, you're fine."
"Good thing the others still have time to show up." Soon after Akagi mentioned our friends, the Miya's (and Suna) reached us. "Oh hey guys!" He greeted the group. "Alright, we're still missing Aran and Ginjima and his friend."
"Oh yeah, sorry we're a bit late." Ginjima's friend Mira suddenly spoke up from right behind Atsumu making him jump a considerable amount.
"Alright, let's get going then!" Y/n declared and we all got into the train. "It's Pride time!" Ginjima spoke and smiled softly.
A/N This Pride Special is supposed to be two parts, both posted in june. It is NOT CANON to the overall story of the fic and mainly just a one off miniseries. Hope you enjoy it regardless! See you in 2 weeks with part 2!
