Atsumu POV
"So we're all very aware that our practice game against Itachiyama is on Friday in two weeks." Coach Oomi started. "We've played against them many times already and we faced them this year in the winter tournament."

"I'm sure you all remember that we lost that game." Coach Kurosu continued. "But the coming practice game isn't about finding an ultimate winner or competing over who's the better team. We both have a lot we can learn from each other and we need to use this chance to practice with and against a dangerous opponent.

"Since there's no winner or loser you don't have to be afraid to try new things that you wouldn't necessarily do during a real match." He looked straight at me and Osamu before going back to looking at the entire group. "If you have any new tricks up your sleeve, these next two weeks are your best chance to practice them."

Coach Oomi spoke up again. "Itachiyama have a good chance of winning the spring tournament, so if we're going to beat them to the top when the time comes, it'll help to learn a bit about how they play. Analyse their techniques, their teamwork and anything they do and remember it until the time comes to use it against them."

I nodded determinedly. No matter what anyone said about it only being a practice game, Itachiyama was our rival and I was absolutely set on beating them.

I glanced to the side and locked eyes with Osamu, who was already looking back at me. Any new tricks, huh? I can think of a few... Omi- I MEAN ITACHIYAMA! Itachiyama won't even know what hit them.

Y/n POV
Me and Atsumu were chatting loudly while we walked home, Osamu trudging along beside us in silence. When the conversation hit a bit of a lull I took the chance to stretch out my arms and torso.

While lowering my arms again, I let out a sigh. "It's good to be training again." I remarked, not really addressing either of my brothers. "How long did you have to stop for while you were moving?" Osamu asked.

I didn't have to think for too long to find the answer. I'd spent a lot of time lately thinking about how much I got to practice and waiting until I could finally join a team again.

"Well what with leaving Itachiyama, the actual moving process and changing to your team, I haven't had regular practice in about three and a half weeks. And I went almost all of last week without practicing at all." I recounted.

"Well, you're kind of being thrown right back in to the deep end now, what with the practice match coming up and training a ton with all our different teammates." Osamu spoke again. "How's that currently looking?"

I shrugged. "Pretty good. Inarizaki is obviously a great team and everyone's already quite advanced. I mean, that makes a lot of sense considering you've already been training together for a lot of the year. I'm really just here for the last few months."

Osamu nodded and since we were very close to our house already, he moved in front of us and stepped in front of the door to unlock it. All of the lights inside were off and after we had turned on the lights in the entrance, Atsumu soon saw a note that our mom had left us.

I had to go out for work. Be back soon. There's food in the kitchen, just heat it up.

Dinner consisted of some salad, potatoes with salt and oil, some hard-boiled eggs and surprisingly fresh bread, that wasn't stale despite the fact that our mom had bought it two days ago.

After we had finished eating we decided who would have to clean the dishes in a very calm and organised manner.

"Y/N!" Atsumu yelled from the kitchen. "YOU CAN'T JUST RUN AWAY FROM THIS!" I turned back to the kitchen. "BUT I WON ROCK PAPER SCISSORS! THAT WAS THE AGREEMENT!" I called back to him.

After some bickering, complaining and cursing at each other, the three of us finally finished cleaning up the kitchen.

"Did mom say when she's coming back?" Osamu asked while we were all silent for a moment. "I don't think so." I answered, trying to recall what was written on the note. "I don't remember what was on the note anymore." Atsumu offered (very unhelpfully).

"We can check again. Just so that we're sure that she didn't." I suggested. Atsumu nodded in full agreement. "Yeah Y/n, why don't you go check."

I fixed him with a stare. Kinda rude of you to just volunteer me for tasks, but oh well. I shrugged and went to check on the note in the entrance. Before I could read it though, the door opened and our mom stepped through, carrying a large bag containing... I wasn't sure what it contained but it looked kind of massive.

"Y/n, honey, why don't you help me carry this upstairs? But don't peek at what's inside. It's a surprise." She smiled and we started carrying it up to her room

A/N Hello everyone! Did you see the northern lights tonight? They were really visible! That aside, I'm hoping to have more miya triplet interactions in later scenes, I enjoy writing them. I hope this chapter doesn't have any big mistakes in it. I tried to check for typos or other errors, but they can slip through. Anyway, see you in two weeks!
