Osamu POV
"But Samu I'm bored!" I rolled my eyes at Atsumu who was hanging off the end of the sofa and hadn't stopped complaining pretty much all day since mom and Y/n left. "I know you're bored you keep saying it! What am I supposed to do about it!" "I dunno, be less boring!"

I glared at him before turning to grab a nearby cushion and throw it at him. It hit him square in the face which almost made me laugh. "Headshot." I said as monotonously as possible although I couldn't stop a small smile appearing on my face.

"OW! What was that for!" Atsumu yelled before throwing back the cushion. I caught it before it could hit me and noticed my phone buzz. I casually threw  back the cushion while picking up my phone and checking my notifications. But almost immediately after throwing it at Atsumu the cushion collided with my heard and I heard Atsumu start laughing from near me.

I turned around to pick the cushion back up but he was faster and grabbed it from right in front of me. "Aw see I knew you weren't that boring." He grinned before tilting his head slightly and seemingly considering something. "Although today you seem quite annoyed. Or I guess worried about something."

I raised an eyebrow. "I have no idea what you're talking about." "Suuure you don't." He countered, sarcasm practically dripping from his voice. "You also haven't been checking your phone every two seconds since this morning, right?"

"Uhm." I haven't spent that much of my time waiting for Suna to text me back right? I'm just a little... Worried cause he usually replies faster? I guess? "I just..." I trailed off as I tried and failed to come up with a way to deny what he had said.

Atsumu just sighed and smiled at me slightly. "Don't even try to deny it, I've known you my whole life and I know you're worried about something. So spill." He crossed his legs and turned to face me more directly and stared at me for a bit.

"There's nothing to spill but fine. If this is the only way you'll stop bothering me about it." I sat down and took a second to gather my thoughts. How can I say this in a way that doesn't make me seem clingy or weird?

"I guess I'm a little worried? Or no confused I guess about why Suna hasn't replied to my messages. I know he's read them, or at least he read the first one cause it showed he was online but he didn't answer and since then there's just been nothing. And it's weird cause yesterday he said he'd be free all of today and even if something came up last second he usually texts back very quickly, so I don't know what's going on right now."

I ended up rambling quite a bit although I still wasn't sure why I was making such a big deal out of this. I looked at Atsumu expecting some sarcastic or teasing remark but he just said "Oh. Can you give me two seconds?" and grabbed his phone. He typed something on it before putting it back down and thinking for a moment.

"So Suna isn't answering you. And you have no idea why? Nothing happened that could make him want to ignore you?" He asked. I thought about it. Had I done something the day before? I asked him if he thought I was important which he didn't really respond to? But he seemed fine after that while we were at his house.

"I don't think-" Ding! I got cut off by Atsumu recieving a message. "Sorry just need to y'know, look at this." He said sheepishly while grabbing his phone. I nodded and waited for him to read the message. He winced and then replied before putting his phone back down. He ran his hand through his hair and then turned back to look at me.

"So! I, uh just talked to Suna. There's some good news and some bad news." "That's comforting." I attempted to make my response seem light-hearted. Why did he answer Atsumu so fast? "Bad news first?" He asked. I just nodded.

"So he said he's sorry for not answering you and that he just doesn't know how to talk to you right now. Quoting him 'I don't want either of us to get hurt through a misunderstanding' and he apparently didn't know what to do except for avoid you."

"Oh." Ok. Ouch. He's actually ignoring me. And he doesn't know what to say to me. But we're best friends right? It doesn't really matter what he says I'll still like him and I'm sure it would be better than just not talking to me!

"B-but! Uh the good news. It's not your fault and you're both still fine! He just needs a little bit of time y'know? To himself..." Atsumu trailed off and looked at me hesitantly. "Yeah. Ok. Well uh... Tell him I look forward to talking to him again?"

I got up from the sofa and walked to my bedroom. I flopped onto my bed and groaned into my pillow. I turned onto my back and looked up at the ceiling. "Oh come on." I mumbled. I put my face in my hands. "How is it 'not my fault' if Suna is specifically ignoring me? And what did I do? He seemed pretty fine yesterday. If anything Atsumu and Y/n were the people acting weird. I mean why would they ask if I like Suna?"

I let my arms flop to my side and sighed. I feel like Atsumu knows more than he's letting on.

Kita POV
I was just finishing my homework and was going to go make lunch when I got a text from Akagi.

Hey Kita!
