Osamu POV
"Yeah, yeah just shut up and serve again." Akagi said smiling and cheerful as ever as if nothing had happened.
We got back to our practice match. When we were at set point y/n surprised us all by running toward the ball, jumping just before she reached the back line and... setting the ball.
"Osamu!" she shouted obviously telling me to spike the ball. I ran up to the ball and spiked it down onto the other side of the net.
Everyone looked at her with awe in their eyes "That was so cool y/n-san!" Riseki said. "Where did you learn to do that?" "Komori-kun showed me this trick!" "Hey y/n could you maybe teach me to do that?" Akagi asked her. "Sure, I'm sure you'll learn how to do it in no time!"
Kosaku POV
Woah! That set from the back was so cool! I can't believe she's talented enough to pull that off! At this point I knew that I definitely had a crush on her.
I looked at her where she was talking to Akagi and smiling widely. They were probably talking about how to be a better libero and techniques and stuff, but while I watched them talk and laugh I felt a little jealous.
I'm sure it's ok though, Akagi probably doesn't even like her like that. Besides even if he does that doesn't mean that she's automatically going to like him back.
That last thought worried me. If it really comes down to it there's no way she'd like me more than Akagi. I mean look at them and I've barely even spoken to her. Till now I've just been watching her from the side.
Wait. I should go talk to her a bit more. Get to know her. The practice match would be a great conversation starter considering I could watch everything they were doing and can talk to her about it now.
I tried to seem confident while I walked over but when I got closer I noticed they were both blushing.
My stomach sank. It's ok. Go talk to her, seem confident, get to know her a bit better. But I didn't really feel like interrupting their conversation just to be a third wheel.
I turned slightly and walked towards where Suna and the twins were, trying to pretend that that was my intention from the start
