Y/n POV
On monday I actually got up before my brothers. "Shit, first day of school, where's my jumper, ahhh!" I hopped around my room, trying to grab everything I needed for my first day at Inarizaki. "Where did I put my headphones!" I whined, rummaging through my things. "I thought I had everything ready yesterday, oh my god!"

After grabbing everything else I needed, I headed downstairs for breakfast. "Hi Samu. God, I don't know why I'm so nervous about this, I always hate the first day of school!" I sat down at the table across from Osamu who was already eating breakfast.

"You'll be fine. I mean what class are you in?" He asked after swallowing. I thought for a moment. "Class 5 I think?" Osamu nodded. "I'm pretty sure that that's Ginjima and Kosaku's class. They're both nice and Gin also gets nervous around new people so I wouldn't worry too much about it."

I took a bite of my cereal and sighed. "I'm kinda scared especially because of friday, I feel like I completely blew my first experssion. I was way too forward and familiar with everyone, what if they all think I'm weird." I rambled.

"I mean I think you nearly gave Gin a heart attack but that's not your fault, he's shy sometimes. Besides you should always just be yourself when you're meeting new people, it's fine." Osamu pointed out.

I gripped my legs anxiously. "I-i dunno. I never feel like I know what I'm saying or doing when I meet new people. It's like I'm not fully in control of my actions but I'm still the one doing the things. I hope I didn't make anyone uncomfortable, acting confident makes me feel more confident and like I'll be fine no matter what I do."

"You're fine, the team is used to Atsumu anyway, he's much more forward and louder than you were. Anyway, I think you and Ginjima will get along well. He does act in just about an opposite way as you when he meets new people but I think you two might be more similar than you would expect."

I just nodded and kept eating my cereal. " And for what it's worth I don't think you're weird." Samu added. Just before I could thank him Atsumu interrupted us. "Hello! I'm not sure what we're talking about but I don't think you're weird either Y/n!" He said also sitting down for breakfast. "Thanks guys." I smiled at them gratefully. "I appreciate that a lot."

Osamu smiled back at me and then got up to put away his stuff. "Hurry up Tsumu, we have to get going to school soon and I'm not going to wait and be late because of you." Atsumu sank into his seat a little bit. "Sometimes it's your fault." He grumbled, but he still hurried up eating.

~TIMESKIP~

We ended up making it to school with time to spare. I had made sure to prepare all of the things I needed for my first official day at Inarizaki like my schedule and a barely legible map of the school Atsumu had made me. Now I just had to find my first classroom.

"Oh Y/n, I have my first class right next to you!" Atsumu realised while peering over my shoulder. "We can head over there together, I'll show you the classroom." I hummed in agreement while putting away my map. Guess I won't be needing that yet.

"Hey Samu, which way do you need to go?" I asked. "I'm in the floor above you two right now but we all have lunch at the same time." I nodded and directed my attention back at Atsumu who had just remembered something cool he wanted to tell us about.

"I need to go up here." Osamu said after we had walked and talked for a little bit. "Ok, see you later Samu!" "See you!" We quickly said goodbye and continued to our classrooms.

"That classroom should be yours." Atsumu told me, pointing at a door a little further down the hall. Then he gestured to the room closest to us. "I'm here, so I'll see you later? Good luck, although I'm sure you won't need it and have fun."

And with that he left and I was alone, my first day in this new school, filled with dread and anticipation. I took a deep breath and walked towards my new classroom. This'll be great. I'm going to have so much fun meeting super nice people and everything's going to go great.

I hesitated in front of the door. Why is it closed? Am I the first person or the last one or something? Can I just walk in? I chewed on my lip nervously as I heavily considered my next actions. I was about to knock when a familiar voice spoke to me out of nowhere. "Oh, hi Y/n!"

A/N Hi everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable valentine's day, even if you completely forgot about it and didn't do anything special like me. I'm currently trying to find a chapter length that feels right for me, if you have anything to say about this or previous chapters I'd appreciate the feedback. I hope you guys have a great next two weeks!
