Y/n POV
It took us a bit of time until we found enough free seats near each other for all of us to sit, but in the end we found an almost empty part of the train. There were two empty groups of four seats next to each other and two empty seats just in front of them.

"Dibs on the two seats." Suna said as soon as we had all quickly agreed to sit there. "Sure, I don't see why not. Unless anyone else wants to sit there?" Kita asked the group.

We all shook our heads. "Cool." Suna grabbed Osamu's eyes and walked to their seats. "I'm gonna sleep while I can." He let Osamu know. "Sure. I'll make sure no one wakes you up." Osamu promised before they sat down and Suna leaned on Osamu's shoulder.

"Alright then, how are we going to sit-" Aran hadn't even finished his sentence when Mira reached out and grabbed me and Ginjima by the arm. "You two are with me." She all but ordered.

"Of course." Ginjima nodded while I saluted with my free hand. "Aye aye captain!" I saw Atsumu and Akagi shoot each other a look while the seven of us sat down in our different seats. I narrowed my eyes. They're planning something.

It wasn't really any of my business though so I let it be.

Just kidding. I immediately pulled out my phone and discreetly texted Atsumu.

What was that look?
Is there something going on over on your side?

Atsumu's phone vibrated in his pocket and I watched him check the message and try to suppress a grin.

Aran and Kita still haven't had time to go on a proper date since they confessed to each other
Today we're changing that

I read his texts and was immediately intrigued. I already knew this trip was quite important to Kita, so all the more reason to make this the best day all of my friends had ever had.

I responded quickly.

Do you have a plan?
Do Kita and Aran know?

We have an amazing plan!
An amazing SECRET plan
Only me and Akagi know about it!

...
This feels like you're intruding in Kita and Aran's relationship.

I heard Atsumu scoff slightly and continue to type.

That's how they even got together in the first place
Honestly where would those two be withour our meddling!

I rolled my eyes before discreetly shooting Tsumu a thumbs up. I trusted him and Akagi to at the very least be considerate towards our friends' new relationship.

"What's all that about? Are you having secret conversations Y/n?" I turned and Mira's face was right by mine. She was leaning over the armrest and raising an eyebrow.

I gasped in mock offense. "I can't believe you'd accuse me of such a thing. Besides it's their secret not mine." I whispered the last part while gesturing vaguely in the others' direction.

Mira narrowed her eyes at Atsumu. "Hm. Sounds like trouble. I want nothing to do with it. Ginjima did you bring the face paint like I asked you to?" She swiftly changed the topic.

"Face paint? What do you mean, I don't own any face paint." Ginjima answered. "Gin, I can't believe you would forget something so important!" Mira raised a hand to her forehead dramatically and pretended to faint, leaning on me for support.

She righted herself again and pulled her bottle out of her bag. "Ok, but genuinely, do you have my face paint? I kinda want it for today." Ginjima started rummaging through his things and pulled out a rainbow face paint set.

"Yay, thanks for bringing it back Gin, you're the best!" Mira took the set back eagerly. "You're not applying it now right?" He raised an eyebrow. "It'll be a while until we get there, you'll smudge it."

Mira deflated visibly. "Fine, I'll wait..." She sighed, sliding down her seat. "It's not that bad, we can all do each other's face paint later. We'll be the coolest and most colourful group in tokyo!" I assured her.

She sat back up properly with a gleam in her eyes. "I can't believe we're actually travelling to tokyo for two days. To go to pride! And with no adults, too, this is the best trip ever!"

"Hey, I'm an adult!" Akagi protested loudly. "You don't count, you're irresponsible!" Mira retorted and Akagi gasped and put a hand to his chest.

"Kita, did you hear what she just said to me?!" He asked Kita, who was speaking to Aran, indignantly. "Well, she's kind of right." Aran pointed out. "You've only been an adult for a few months and it's not like that much has changed since your 18th birthday."

Akagi opened his mouth to respond, but seemingly thought better of it and leaned back in his chair with a sigh. "I can't believe you would all do this to me." He grumbled.

"Don't worry Akagi, none of us are responsible either!" I reassured him. "Well… except Kita of course." I thought aloud. "And definitely Aran sometimes. And I guess-"

I cut off my train of thought with a laugh when I saw Akagi gradually growing more discouraged. I reached across the gap between our seats to nudge him in the side.

"Irresponsible adults are much more fun anyway." I told him quietly and leaned away with a wink. I watched in amusement as Akagi's cheeks went red and burst into laughter when he hid his face in his hands.

"Sorry Akagi," I said while trying to stifle my laughs. "It was too good a chance to pass up." I watched him move his hands away from his face to reveal a grin.

"It was more than worth it to get to hear more of your laugh." He whispered back and then it was my turn to feel my face immediately grow hot. I coughed into my fist in order to turn away from his face (which was a little too close to mine for my heart to handle).

"Eww, are you two flirting?" Mira joked with an exaggerated look of disgust plastered on her face. "And in front of two single people as well." Ginjima added. "Honestly, it's like you two have no regard for the poor, lonely people on this train."

"Gin you can't keep using the fact that you don't have a boyfriend as a reason to not let people enjoy being in relationships." Atsumu finally rejoined the conversation, after putting away his phone, that he had probably been talking to Sakusa on until then.

"Actually, I think you'll find I can do that. In fact I have been and I will continue to do so." Ginjima stuck his tongue out at Atsumu and Mira cheered. "Too right Gin, we can't just let couples be together happily, they'd be even more insufferable then."

"Alright that's it, I'm getting both of you a partner, whether you want them or not." Atsumu told the two. "Good luck with that." Ginjima responded while Mira grinned. "Bet. Just make sure they're cute."

"You'll see, I'm the best at getting people into relationships, I'm basically cupid." Atsumu said confidently. "Yeah right, it's not like Akagi, Suna and me were the ones who got Kita and Aran to confess to each other either, definitely not." I reminded him.

"Hey, I helped! Besides, at least I never had to ask anyone for help to ask out Omi!" He claimed and crossed his arms. "Didn't you ask Komori-" Akagi started asking before quickly being cut off by Atsumu. "That was advice not help!"

I laughed at that, along with Ginjima who immediately continued teasing Atsumu.

I leaned back in my chair and yawned. It was early and I was tired, but I was so happy to be there in that moment with my friends and family.

Next to me Akagi was also watching our friends argue in silence. I looked over to him and we shared a smile. This was going to be the best day ever.

A/N Hey there! The chapter's a little late this week since I was at a camp the whole week and didn't get a chance to upload it before now. I decided I'd like to write three parts for the pride special, so the next one will hopefully come out at some point in the next week, then it's back to the canon story and the regular two week schedule. I hopw you all have a nice rest of June!
