QUICK AUTHORS NOTE
Sorry that the beginning of the chapter might be boring for you but trust me it gets better throughout the chapter.

I looked down and I felt like this was the scariest most riskiest thing I've ever done.

I was about ten feet from the ground but it seriously felt like I was about to go jump off a plane.
I hanged on to the pole as I got a bit dizzy from looking down.

"Come on Malerie stop being such a wuss and get down here!" I heard Alex yell from the bottom.

My stomach twisted.

~Earlier~

After we were done eating I felt like a stuffed turkey, I can't tell you how much dessert I ate, because I ate a lot. But it was so worth it.

As I was driving I suggested that we should bowling.

Alex hesitated but said sure.
I drove to our local bowling place. It was a night theme glow in dark place. It gorgeous, and I've always loved the sound of bowling balls rolling and hitting the hard wood floor. I found it relaxing, really.

We got our shoes and we paid for our game.

As we walked towards our lane and we filled in our names. At least I did. I secretly filled Alex's name as in 'the flea'.

He looked up to the scoreboard. He gave me the 'are serious' look. "The flea?" he flatly.

"Sorryyy." I innocently smirked.

I picked up a purple ball going first.

I hit a strike. "YASS!" I yelled excitedly.

He gave me a glare.

"Lets see you do it." I challenged.

He squirmed.

I know something's up with him since we arrived.

"What's wrong?" I asked curiously.

He shrugged and murmured something.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't know how to bowl." he mumbled. But I managed to hear him.

Finally, something that Alex isn't good at.

"Really." I asked teasingly.

He sent me another a glare. "Yes really."

I shook off the feeling to make fun of him, and said something nice for a change. "Try." I said encouragingly.

He gave me a odd look. Then went to pick up a green ball.

He threw it upwards and like he was throwing a softball or something. It made huge sound against the waxed hardwood floor.

I cringed. That was such a terrible throw I ended up bursting in laughter.

"What kind of throw was that?!" I laughed.

He gave me a glare but then his lips twitched into a smirk.

"A throw." he said simply.

I shook my head. "This isn't baseball."

"Whatever." he said, as he started walking towards the alley.

"What are you doing?"

He looked back at me then took a step forward. Stepping on the waxed hardwood floor.

"Getting the ba- AH!" He said interrupting himself by his own shriek as he was made contact with the waxed floor.

I bursted out laughing.
