I opened the door and made my way out of my car.
Yup, I finally had my baby back!
Looked up at the building I was approaching.
It was Ms. Matildi's brothers dancing studio called 'dancing harmony'. It was beige on the outside along with some brown, and of course the sign that popped out.
I recognized a black motorcycle parked near the entrance.
Of course Alex was already here I'm twenty minutes late, which is terrible for my first impression.
It's a Saturday so you can't blame me for wanting to sleep in.
I walked in my feet making step sounds as I walked in soaking in my new surroundings. The floor was hardwood flooring. And the space in here was unbelievable. It was so wide and spacious. And one wall was all mirror, no wall.
I turned to Alex with a man who looked about in his early forties. I notice that I was unconsciously ignoring them when I walked in, and all I was doing was just looking around.
"Your late." I heard Alex say, his voice echoing through he room.
"I know. I tried not to but it didn't work out." I said walking towards them.
I took out my hand, smiling to, who I'm guessing was Mr. Matildi.
He took my hand smiling, having a surprisingly strong respectable grip while shaking it.
"Hello I'm Mr. Matildi." he said, as I noticed his thick English accent.
"Malerie." I said smirking.
"Okay so now that both of your are here. I want to give you two just a bit of knowledge of me, so you know that I'm not such a stranger."
He paused a second then he continued again. His was posture so straight it was admirable."So as you two already know I'm Ms. Matildi's brother. You can call me Frank. Im married and I know how to dance, I usually teach dance for ten dollars per class, but you know already know that Alex. But since your my sisters students it will be free."
I looked at Alex in confusion.
He was looking down at the floor.
"Why does Alex already know that?" I asked.
"Already knows what?" Frank said.
"That he knows that each class is ten dollars."
"Oh, because I used to teach Alex when he was a kid." He smiled.
"Really?" I said in surprise.
"Well who knew Alex is a ballerina." I continued smiling."I'm not a ballerina, I just know how to dance. Unlike someone." He said looking directly at me.
I rolled my eyes. "At least I know how to act."
He scoffed looking away.
"Okay so how about we get started?!" Frank (Mr. Matildi) said enthusiastically.
"Gladly." Alex said.
"Okay but first we need to start with scene one. And that's Malerie's dance. But before dancing you must stretch, so you won't pull a muscle."
I internally groaned.
We all got down to the floor and stretched to our toes, and did all kinds of stretches.
I was so unflexible couldn't even reach my toes. I had no idea how I was even going to dance. And being unathletic doesn't help.
I'm just a girl who likes to stuff my face with chocolate, not dance.
