Chapter 9

MINI AUTHORS NOTE:
I made two story covers and idk I think I like the one I have right now better, but if you like this one that i posted on this chapter more please comment because I am so indecisive.

I woke up by the sound my alarm clock burning my ears. I absolutely hate that clock.

It was 8:03. I groaned and rubbed my eyes and ran a hand threw my hair, frustrated that I had to get up for school.

I literally rolled over off my bed and landed with a thump on the floor. I let out a "ooooofff" as I felt the impact of my hardwood floor on my face.

This was a tactic that helped me get up. But didn't really help all the time because sometimes I would just lie asleep on the floor again.
It took me a minute to get up and finally get my hair out of my face into a messy ponytail I didn't even bother to look at as I immediately turned on the faucet and splashed water face and got ready.

I grabbed a white tank top with a longish grey cardigan. Then I grabbed denim skinny jean. Then I decided to get a grey beanie just to make it the outfit more nicer, plus I wouldn't have to deal with fixing my hair.

I grabbed my phone and my backpack and made my way downstairs.

I put on my shoes and went out the door, making sure to lock it.

As I went farther I felt the chilly air hitting me. I stepped towards my car hearing the dead grass snapping below me as I walked.

I smiled looking at my car admiring the fact that I had a car now.
I turned around looking out in distance seeing Valerie on sidewalk about two blocks away.

I told Valerie last night over the phone that I got a new car. She said that she wanted to see it so she said if I could take her to school and back today and I said okay. Valerie lives down the street anyways.

I grinned mischievously as I thought of a little prank to give her.

I pulled out my phone texting her.

Me: "OHMYGOD VALERIE!!!"

Valerie: "what!"

Me: "TERRAN IS BEHIND YOU!!!! DONT LOOK BACK HE'S STARING STRAIGHT AT YOU!!" I smiled even wider. Terran was Valerie's ex-boyfriend, and they have an extremely awkward status kinda thing. There not friends but there not enemies either there just extremely awkward because Terran always tries to talk to Valerie. So she avoids him in every way possible.

Valerie: "liar he doesn't even live here."

My smile dropped as I realized that this wasn't gonna work. But miraculously an idea popped in my head.

Me: "Yeah-huh didn't you hear. he moved in the neighborhood."

Valerie: "WHAT!!" she then took a while to say again: "OHMYGOD OHMYGOD PHMHGJDO ADJSFTUEWRLND."

Me: "okay don't freak out even more but he's walking faster." I texted full-out grinning.

Valerie: "NO FREAKING WAY NO NO NO NO NO THIS IS NOT GOOD!"

I looked up at her seeing her now only half a block away, speed walking like she was going to get a puppy for reaching the finish line first.

I laughed. She reached my driveway pretty fast coming up to me and out of breath. "Is he still behind me somewhere!"

I laughed even harder.

"Malerie is heeee!" she said insisting.

"Stop laughing.... why are you laughing you tush!" she said agian.
I laughed even harder falling to the ground, sitting up and and smiling to her my apologetic smile.
