Chapter 21

Today was the day before the play and we were reviewing and acting out as much as can.

Now that me and Alex are friends it was easier and way more funner to act with him. I actually enjoyed working with him.

Even dancing was started to get funner with him being around.

I started thinking about the routines and steps I would have to do today in dance class, when the bell rung.

I was gathering my backpack when I heard Ms. Matildi call me and Alex.

I walked over to her. "Can I talk to you two?"

We nodded, indicating for her to continue.

"Okay so I've been thinking about some idea for the play lately, and I've concluded that the play should end with a kiss."

My eye widened. She wanted me Alex to do what?! Just about a week an a half ago we started getting along, and now she wants us to kiss! This lady must have some problems.

We must of had shocked faces because I saw Ms. Matildi hesitate. "I know what your thinking guys. But this professional. If you ever want succeed in the acting business you have to learn to be okay with kissing other people. It totally business."

My face reddened thinking about the thought of me and Alex kissing.
The problem here is that I've never kissed anyone before.

Sure I've had a few boyfriends before but the last time I had a boyfriend was middle school and we never kissed.

"Oh come on guys say something." Ms. Matildi said putting more pressure in my head.

But Alex spoke up before I had a chance to. "I'm not sure.." he trailed off.

I looked at him and saw him extremely uncomfortable. He looked totally shy; looking anywhere but me.

I smirked as his uncomfortableness.

"You both will surely get an A for the semester." she said, no doubtly trying to bribe us. Man she must be really desperate.

I gave in. Maybe this won't be so bad. After all I am gonna get a pretty good grade. And that's always good.

I noticed a few students starting to come in Ms. Matildi's classroom.
I sighed. I can't believed I'm gonna agree to this.

"Sure." I noticed me and Alex say at the same time.

We looked at each other feeling the extremely awkward atmosphere around us. I looked away not wanting to blush.

I internally wanted to go get ran over by a truck. Why do I have to be such a easy blusher.

Ms. Matildi clapped, smiling.
"Great! Thanks guys! You may go now." she said plopping back into her rolly desk chair.

I have no idea how I'm gonna deal with Alex.

School was over, and now all I wanted to do was sink into my wormhole, aka my bed.

I unlocked my door and was greeted by Marie. (A/N: Marie is Ariana's babysitter who appeared only once in the early chapters.)

"Hey Malerie!" Marie greeted.

"Hey Marie! Where have you been?"

"Oh you know, I took a little Vacation."

I walked into the living room, acknowledging Ariana who was to busy watching Rio 2.

"Really where?"

"New York."

I've always wanted to go to New York. "Lucky. Did you have fun?"
