I groaned as I paused the TV an got up from my comfy white couch to go walk towards the ringing phone.

I rubbed my eyes and picked up the phone.

"Hello" I mumbled into the phone.

"Hello Malerie?" I heard my moms voice from the other line of the phone.

"Yes" I replied.

"Is Ariana there with you?"

"No, when I got home she told me to take her to her friends house, so I did."

"How long is she going to be there?"

"Uhh...." I looked at the time. it was 5:42 "she said to pick her up at 8:30 so.."

"Oh alright. Malerie I'm staying a extra time at work so I won't be coming back until nine."

"Oh okay." I said thinking about what I should do during that time.

"Um mom." I spoke up again into the phone. "can I take your credit card I want to go grocery shopping then go eat somewhere because surprisingly there's no food in the refrigerator."

"Okay, just don't spend too much."

"Kay, bye mom. Thanks."

"Your welcome, bye."

I hung up and went to my moms room and got her credit card, then going upstairs to get my keys from my room.

I went back downstairs and turned off the TV and got my phone, then went out the door locking it.

I went into my car turning it on and going out my driveway.

I went to Walmart buying snacks, candy and some drinks and some other foods like cereal, rice, chicken, and frozen pizza etc.

When I paid I went back outside with the Walmart cart filled with Walmart bags.

As I approached my car I heard some giggling.

I furrowed my eyebrows and went to where the giggling was coming from.

My eyes widened as I saw the disaster in front of me.

"Oh. My. God." I breathed out in shock.

There were three little kids scrubbing dirt and mud all over my car. As they heard me they locked eyes with me, took their bucket of mud and dirt and started running away at full speed laughing.

Anger rushed through me as I processed what was happening before my eyes.

"HEY!!!" Screamed out to them leaving the Walmart cart at my car and starting to chase after them.

I felt the cold air hit my face making it sting a little as I ran at my full pace.

The kids were too far away from me and I was losing my breath from running so much and so fast.

I stopped running knowing that there was so possible way I could catch up to them and make them clean my car.

I was panting, as I was watching them run away even farther, then going out of sight. I felt annoyed and irritated as ever.

I raised my middle finger looking at the direction they disappeared in and yelled. "YOU BRATS!!"

I looked around and saw an old lady staring at me while she was putting away her grocery bags into her trunk.
