Day 1
~{Pallet Town- 10:55 AM}~

"Char!"

"Myuu!"

"Saur!"

The three Pokémon ran around playing through the streets of Pallet Town, while Red and Leaf walked behind. Red and Charmander were ready to continue their journey, heading back to Route 1, now alongside their friends Leaf, Mew, and Bulbasaur.

As they walked down the streets, Leaf began to wonder about her abilities. She stared at her hands as she gave off a blank expression.

Red noticed Leaf's blank stare and asked, "What's on your mind, Leaf?"

Leaf snapped out of her trance and glanced at Red. "Oh, sorry about that, Red. I was thinking about... my powers. Though I don't recall much about myself, I somehow know that I have these powers. But, I don't understand why I have them."

"I too would like to know the answer to that. It doesn't seem unnatural for a human to have Pokémon capabilities."

"To be honest, I don't feel like I'm a human, seeing how I have these abilities. But, I don't feel like I'm a Pokémon either. I know that may sound weird, but that's just how I feel." Leaf distraughtly uttered.

"You shouldn't think of what you are and aren't Leaf. What's important is that you are you, and no one can tell you otherwise. Every being that lives is important in its own way, and the person you are is what makes you special. Besides, we're going on this adventure to find answers to who you really are, and where you and Mew came from. I believe that somewhere out there are answers to everything."

Leaf smiled, feeling reassured by Red's words.

"Thanks, Red. But, seeing how I have these powers, I don't feel like I'm strong enough to properly control or use them. For all I know, I'm capable of healing Pokémon, and possibly humans too. Other than that, I don't know if I can use other moves that Pokémon have, but I can definitely feel different sorts of energy in me that feels like a Pokémon would have. At the same time, I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt because I don't know how to use my powers." She stated in concern.

Red pondered for a little, putting a hand on his chin, and wondering about some sort of solution for Leaf. The boy then pointed a finger up, gaining an idea.

"I got it! Let's train together and maybe that'll help you use your powers!"

Leaf tilted her head in confusion.

"Train?"

"Yeah! Me and Charmander can help you practice using your powers so you'll be able to properly control them! Along with Mew and Bulbasaur! They can probably teach you how to use your Pokémon abilities through moves they know!"

"That does sound like a good idea... But, where would we train? I don't think it's safe for me to use my powers in the open." Leaf questioned.

"Your right. Who knows what people might do if they knew you had these powers." He noted." "Wait! That hidden grotto I found you and Mew in could be a perfect place to practice! It's well hidden in the forest of Route 1, so I'm sure it'll be safe to go there!"

Leaf nodded in understanding. "Ok! I'm ready, Red."

Red grinned at Leaf, feeling the same determination she was feeling.

"Route 1 is just up ahead. I'm sure finding the hidden grotto shouldn't be th..."

"Red! Sweetie is that you!?"

Red and Leaf heard a voice from behind them. Red slowly turned around, recognizing the voice that called to him.

"Mom...?"
