Undecided|| Vallyk or Derek??

Chapter 14

Y: Vallyk I miss us too, and I'm really sorry for what I did and how horrible of a friend, but there's no way I can be around Devyn I just can't.

V: And you won't have to be! Look I get why your mad but things have changed I promise you Devyn is different now.

Y: What was it that went to her for and not me

V: what do you mean?

Y: you know what I mean. You said she helped you out with something, what was it that she could help you with that I couldn't.

V: I...

Y: Are you serious?  We were supposed to be best friends right, and you can't even tell me.

V: well I'm not the only one keeping secrets. Why did you run from me at the creek a couple weeks ago

I did not expect him to respond with that. I don't answer

V: exactly

I scoff

Y: so much for talking it out

V: I really want to make things right but you make it so damn hard y/n! Look just so you know I never stopped caring about you. Just come to me when you stop being such a bitch

Y: oh I'm a bitch? Fuck you and fuck Devyn I never should have came back to Jersey. And to think I came back for you! And for the record your the one who came up to my locker like a little bitch

V: Then maybe you should go back, no one wants you here anyway.

Y: oh yea, well your bud Derek wants me here considering the fact we fucked.

He angrily exits through my window. I jump on my bed and scream Into my pillow. Obviously we didn't I don't know why I said that. Speaking of Derek shit! I was supposed to meet up with him as promised. I quickly grab my phone to call him

Y: hey, im still hoping to meet like I promised. Sorry I'm a bit late I was busy doing uh homework

D: it's fine. We can meet at the diner I guess. See you

He hangs up without another word. That's weird,Derek never does that. It's almost as if he's mad at me. What could he be mad about?

I drive to the diner. Once I arrive I see Derek sitting in a both through one of the windows of the restaurant. I walk in and the bell rings. Derek looks up and our eyes meet. I walk up to Derek and give him a hug. He hugs back but it doesn't seem genuine. And that's not all, the whole time he seems upset and doesn't talk much. And when he does he won't even look me in the eye.

Y: are you ok?

D: huh?

Y: you've been acting weird all night. Is there something you wanna tell me.

D: I could say the same thing

Y: what do you mean?

D: Doing homework huh? I saw Vallyk sneaking into your house through your window

Y: that's what we always do- wait how did you know were you spying on me?

D: y/n I'm not dumb ok I could tell something was off by what you said at school. And it's not spying since I'm your boyfriend

Y: That's still a complete invasion of my privacy, and he's my friend so you have nothing to be worried about.

D: Oh bullshit when's the last time you and Vallyk talked before today huh? And if he's your friend why did you keep it a secret? What did you guys do in there

Y: Derek I'm not talking about this with you. whatever happened in that room was between us two.

D: So you guys fucked.

Y: No! I would never do that!

D: then tell me what happened!

Y: No.

D: fuck this! We're over

He punches the table then storms out. Not long after I angrily exit the restaurant too. I drive home and go in through the window so I don't have to deal with Kiki right now. she said something like this would happen. I plop into my bed and stare at the ceiling. I replay what happened at the diner over and over again. Now I see that I could have been more understanding and could've told him what happened but hearing what he did made me so angry and my temper was already short with what happened between me and Vallyk. But It's too late now he's already broken up with me. My anger quickly turns to sadness and I cry harder then I ever have before. I'm such a horrible person! I've ruined all of my most cherished relationships. No Vallyk, No Derek, Aunt Kiki probably won't have any sympathy for me. Maybe I'd just be better off back in Ohio. Away from Jersey, away from Vallyk, away from Derek, away from all my problems.
