Undecided|| Vallyk or Derek??

Chapter 43

I stand frozen, staring at what's on the screen before me. Who took these pictures?? How did they see us?

I shove my phone into my back pocket and try to catch up to Vallyk. I arrive at the parking lot, my shoulders drop when I see he's already left.

He was my ride to school. What am I saying?? He's my boyfriend and he just figured out I cheated on him with his ex friend who cheated on me!

I pull my phone out once I again, and dial in a phone number. I tap on the back of my phone with the ringing of the phone in my ears. The sound switches to a voice

D: hey.

Y: Are you seeing this??

D: seeing what?

Y: Someone saw us in the room.. at the party. Vallyk found out and now I'm stuck at the school. Mind giving me a ride?

Derek arrives with a serious look on his face. I get into his car and turn my body to face him.

Y: Did you see the pictures?

D: Yea..

Y: was this you? Did you feel some kind of power because of a kiss? Told your friends to take pictures?!

D: What no! I don't know who took those pictures, I swear.

I can see in his eyes that he's telling the truth. I let out a sigh and turn to face the window.

Y: just take me home, please.

He nods and starts the car. The whole car ride to the house is silent expect for the low rumble of the car.

Not long after we arrive the Kiki's house.

D: y/n.. I'm sorry-

Y: Don't.

I step out the car without another word. Derek takes a hint and pulls off.

Then it hits me. I have to get my car from Vallyk's house. Tears fight to escape my eyes at the thought of that, but I don't have a choice .

I walk the few blocks to Vallyk's house. I stop at the sight of it, my heart rate quickening.

I walk to the curb out front to my car. I reach out to open the door, then stop. I can't just leave without saying anything to Vallyk.

I gather up enough courage to go up the ladder to his room. He's sitting on his bed with his face buried in his hands. I hesitate before finally knocking.

He turns around, the face he makes when seeing me shatters my heart.

He gets up from the bed locks the window, and closes his curtains with an angry look on his face.

I don't give up easily so I get down from the ladder and walk to the front door. I knock on the front door.

I hear foot steps approach the door. The door opens to reveal an upset Vallyk.

V: Y/n, not now, ok. 

Y: Please just- just  give a chance to explain

V: Explain what! That you cheated on me with the very person who cheated on you?

I stare at him dumbfounded.

V: Yea that's what I thought..

Y: I-Im sorry ok it was a mistake.

V: Bet that's what he said to you once. You could do so much better than Derek.

He says this while shaking his head, his face full of disgust.

V: Now if you don't mind, my mom will be here soon I don't want to tell her what happened... wouldn't want her to be mad at you.

With that he shuts the door in my face. I hear footsteps recede as I walk to my car. I get into my car and rest my head on the steering wheel. 

He's right, I'm an idiot. I cheated on Vallyk, who I love, deeply. With Derek, who cheated on me.  

I fill up with anger and disappointment in myself. I punch my seat and everything around me, screaming in frustration. Feeling a little better, I pull away.

I get to the house and slam the door behind me. I run up the stairs ignoring Kiki's questions. I lock my door behind me and jump onto my bed, burying my face into my pillow. I start to shake from how hard I sob.

I heart a soft voice from outside my door followed by a knock.

K: Hey, you ok?

I sniff and wipe my tears. My voice still muffled from still being buried in my pillow.

Y: No.

K: You want to talk about it?

Y: No.

K: Please let me in, I can't help if you don't talk to me.

I wipe the rest of my tears before opening the door. I sit down on my bed and Kiki does the same.

K: What happened?

Y: I messed up.

K: You wanna tell me what you messed up?

Y: Not really, not now.

K: Ok, but just know that I'm here for you.

She walks to my door and gives me a warm smile before closing the door behind her. 

I crawl into my bed, guilt, disappointment, anger, sadness, all these feelings taking over me.

ps Sorry the chapters kinda short, also sorry for not updating I had guests and had to share my room. I posted it on my announcements but I don't think you read mine lol so yea
