It's been a couple weeks since I found out that Derek cheated on me. I see him around school and just walk the opposite way. Yup. It's like that now. I've gotten closer with Mike and Kobe since I have no other friends now. My new "spot" is the Diner. That's where I usually meet with Kobe and Mike.
I wake up to my alarm at 6 am. I wake up extra early now to put makeup on before I go to school. It's something I got into it after I broke up with Derek just to get my mind off of it. But now I'm really into it. I get and hop in the shower brush my teeth, skincare, then makeup. Soon after I run down the stairs and a delicious smell welcomes me into the room. Kiki made some eggs, sausage, and toast. I eat my breakfast drink OJ then get into my car to go to school.
When I arrive to school I go straight to my locker. I go to find Mike and Kobe at their lockers, theirs are near each other.
Y: hey guys
K&M: hey
Y: I just wanted to say hi to you guys before we go to class.
K: aight. See you at lunch
The bell rings and everyone heads to class. I walk into first period. I know Vallyk's I'm the room but I don't look at him. I haven't in a long time. I still find myself hurting because he was my best friend for the longest time, of course it hurts.
*lunch time* When lunch comes around I sit with Kobe and Mike. Vallyk sits with Devyn and Derek doesn't hang out with them anymore. Probably figured that one of them told me what he had been doing.
We talked and ate. The conversations are never boring or awkward with Kobe and Mike we've gotten really close(I'm kinda lazy to go into detail so yea that's lunch)
*End of School* Y: hey K: hey Y: Im going to the diner to do my hw you can guys can join if you want K: nah I can't today but maybe another day.
I can't find Mike so I just decide to go by myself. I've been going to the diner a lot lately. It's my new place for me to think. The creek lingers with a lot of memories that I want to shove deep so I don't go there anymore.
When I get to the diner I sit at my usual booth. I order a chocolate muffin and get my textbooks out. As I bite into my muffin it happens. I lock eyes with one of the cutest guys I've ever seen. Brown skin, brown curly hair, and light brown eyes.
