this was a request for strawberryslushee i really hope you like it!!!

"Y/N! Honey, Edwards here." My mom called up to me. Why does she insist on calling him Edward? Eddie would be fine, but no. Always preppy with her.

I raced down the stairs, wanting to see him so badly. It felt like it had been more than a year since I saw him. A smile was on his face when I came into view. My mom was now in the kitchen cooking. I took that as a sign it was okay to go.

"Hi." I said a little bit awkwardly. Eddie put his arm around my shoulders giving me a wave of remembrance. I missed him a lot....

"You ready?" He asked me softly, I answered with a nod and we walked down to the movies. This new movie "Point Break" had just come out and I was DYING to see it. Of course, him being the amazing boy he is insisted on taking me as soon as it hit the theaters.

When we got there, I couldn't tell you how excited I was. Eddie didn't seem to fascinated with the movie, but he put on an act for me that I loved him for.

"You really like this huh?" Eddie asked me quietly as we watched the movie. I giggled a little bit and nodded.

"Yes, now quiet." I said shushing him. The movie came and went, quickly. It was actually pretty good. Everyone was leaving the theater and as we were leaving some guy just watched me. It was making me uncomfortable and something I didn't even want to explain was written all over his face. He was giving me a weird vibe and I hated it.

"Hey. What's a lovely broad like you doing out with a boy like him?" Of course he stopped us. My heart was racing as I tried to answer, but I was terrified of what he might do. Eddie stopped dead in his tracks and turned around to face him.

"Beats being out with your idiotic ass." Eddie mumbled under his breath as he kept his hand on my back firmly.

"Oh, your funny. Your funny, bud," the boy turned to me again, "hang out with us....we'd treat ya a lot better than this geek."

I shook my head firmly at him. Eddie wasn't a geek, he was anything but.

"Hey, go blow yourself. If anyone's a geek here it's you, man. I wouldn't even pay to see movies about monsters, and villains. I'd save my money and stare in the mirror for an hour." Edward said back with rage laced into his voice.

The boy brushed us off with a puff of his cigarette and turned back around to face his friends.

Eddie smiled a sarcastic smile at him as we walked away.

"You looked like a whore anyways!" The boy shouted. Typical....I know. But it made me so sad, how could they call someone that so casually like it wouldn't hurt me. It did, it really did. I wasn't a whore. It's like boys can just love you one minute and then just say they hate you the next. It's impossible keeping up with standards.

"Oh, Y/N. Don't even listen to him alright? He's worthless. Your probably the 7th girl he's hit on tonight and you know what....he's just bored and sad with his own life and he doesn't have an ounce of potential in him. People like that waste their sad lives on innocent, beautiful, intelligent, girls like you. Don't let any of that assholes words get to you, because your giving him the satisfaction." Eddie said like he'd prepared a whole speech. It made my heart smile, how lucky I was to have this beautiful boy to myself.

"I know. I know." I said leaning into him more. Taking in his embrace, not wanting to loose him at all. Like if I'd let go, he'd disappear.

"Hey, wanna get some ice cream? Cheer you up a bit?" Eddie read my mind like a book. I grinned at him, giving him his answer as we left the movies to go do something better.
