back by popular demand:

"Do you ever think.....about like what goes on in other places?" Edward asked me almost out of nowhere. I turned on my side to face him.

"What do you mean?" I asked running a hand through my hair. Edward shrugged.

"I mean like....I wonder what some random person in Australia is doing at this exact moment." Edward said looking out the window. He really could surprised me like this. I wondered how the thought got into his head.

"Well, sometimes." I agreed laying back down. I was tired and didn't feel like staying up and talking. Edward sighed and laid down by me again. I smiled to myself softly.

"But seriously." Edward kept the conversation on. Jesus, how deep is this boy? I closed my eyes and didn't respond. I wanted sleep. And only sleep.

"Y/N, I'm serious. Don't you think we take things for granted?" Edward said putting his hand on my shoulder forcing me to talk.

"I don't know Edward. We're okay and that's all that matters." I said snuggling into the pillow more. Edward started playing with my hair, tucking it behind my ear which made me more sleepy. Everything was silent and perfect.

"I don't wanna take you for granted." He said again softly. It made my heart warm, I felt terrible. I didn't want to seem like I was mad at him.

"You don't. You really don't okay? I couldn't dream of a better boy than you." I said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Edward smiled softly and pulled me close to him again. I stared at the moon from the window thinking about the fact that I maybe to him for granted. It made me feel so selfish for some reason.

"Do I take you for granted?" I asked him.

"No. When I'm with you, all I feel is safe and loved and that's all I need, to realize that your the one." Edward said sweetly. I can't believe I ever said I didn't want to talk, and wanted to sleep. I longed for the late night we stayed up talking. Those were what I did take for granted and never would again.
