this was a request for: @glossievibes i hope you like it!!! 🤍🤍🤍

My friends nudged my shoulder implying they were going over to the smoothie place. I nodded as I stayed put not wanting to go. My head perked up quickly and I looks around to see Gordie walking with his friends. My cheeks instantly flushed a red color and I covered my face.

I continued to pick at my nails nervously. I'm always nervous around Gordie. But can you blame me? Have you seen him?

"Just do it!" I heard Teddy say to Gordie. I looked over to them pushing him over towards us. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach and butterflies arose. I fixed my hair and tried looking casual.

"Y/N...." I heard Gordie say to me. Quickly I looked up and tried not to smile. I wanted to seem cool, and pretty around him. My friend gave me a look from the smoothie place which made me even more nervous.

"Yes?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. Gordie looked to Teddy again and then nodded. What were they up to?

"Why are you sitting alone?" He asked me rather oddly.

"Oh ummm, I'm not my friends are over there." I pointed to them. Gordie nodded, but still took a seat next to me.

"Well, you shouldn't sit alone. Someone could say something to ya." Gordie informed me with a questionable tone. His arm slid around my shoulders but I pushed it off.

"Look, I don't need your protection Gordie." I said to him sliding over to the other side of the bench a little.

"I'll show you some protection." Gordie said and his friends started laughing. Especially, Teddy. Which made me even angrier. My heart was sinking sadly. I didn't think of Gordie in this way.

"I don't appreciate this very much." I crossed my arm and stood up. I was furious at him for hitting on me, and in such a rude way. Gordie took the liberty of standing next to me.

"Just ditch your friends and come on over to my house. We can play Monopoly..." Gordie said. I knew what he was implying and I didn't like it one bit. It made me feel angry.

"Just leave me alone. Ok?" I said to him trying to be polite about this whole thing. Gordie sighed and continued trying to put an arm around my shoulder.

"Gordie, I've made it clear I'm not really sure I want to talk to you right now." I said pushing his away from me. Gordie just wouldn't give up so I did what I had to do and slapped him clear across the face. Chris gasped from behind him and Teddy started laughing. Vern just stood there with a worried expression.

I walked away to the smoothie place with anger written on my face. I absolutely hated Gordie, and always would. My friends gave me concerning looks and patted my back. The rest of the day was a blur. I was so sad, and my heart was broken. I didn't want to talk to anyone. Anyone at all. I didn't know how much he had hurt me. Everything was blurry and my heart was a mess.

"Guys, I think I'm gonna go on home." I said to them with sorrow in my voice. They all nodded understandably. I walked towards my house trying not to cry over such a stupid boy.

"Y/N..." I heard that god awful voice say behind me. I turned around with hurt on my face. Gordie didn't have his friends by his side this time.

"Look, I'm really sorry. Teddy told me to talk to you and I didn't realize how much it'd hurt you. I'm so sorry Y/N. For everything, and I hope you can forgive me." Gordie said to me shyly. I still didn't believe him. Not one bit.

"Ok Gordie." I let him off and started walking again.

"Wait! I'm sorry. Look, I think your really beautiful and it just came out wrong back there." Gordie said keeping this conversation going. I sighed and stopped walking away.

"How do you expect me to believe that?"

Gordie looked around aimlessly, while biting his lip. His hands were shaking like he was nervous, and he was. I could tell he was very nervous. Gordie took each side of my face in his hands and then kissed my lips softly. I was shocked, and in utter disbelief that he'd just kissed me. He kissed me.

"You're forgiven LaChance." I said to him with a smile before I continued walking away.
