I was in the park reading....minding my own business. Everything was perfect the way the trees blew in the wind, the way the breeze blew through my hair everything was going great. It was beautiful out.

I was sitting on a bench, in front of the park. A cigarette in my mouth, casually blowing to the side. Not paying attention to anyone but myself. Almost out of no where, I felt someone's eyes on me and giggles. I looked up to see three boys looking at me. One of them, blonde smiling. Laughing to his buddies occasionally. Did I have something on me? Was my hair messy. What were they laughing about?

I continued reading, not paying any attention to them, laughing at me. Until it got to loud, and went on too long.

I heard a bit of their conversations but it was all little things that made no sense.

"Yeah right!"

"Your dreaming, man."

"She's not your type."

I stood up and walked over to them, all of them watching me. Giving me eyes of anxiousness and softness.

"Is there a problem?" I asked crossing my arms. The blonde one, towered over me. It was intimidating I'll tell you that. I gulped at his appearance and stared into his dark eyes.

"Now what would ever make you think that?" He asked in a mocking tone. I didn't know how to respond honestly. I tried to talk but nothing came out. I looked stupid honestly.

"Y-you were laughing at me." I some how managed to say. The boy looked to his buddies and raised his eyebrows.

"Now, I think they were laughing at me." He said with a smirk. I uncrossed my arms and put them at my sides.

"Then why were you looking at me?" I asked one last question. The boy bent down to be more at my level and sighed.

"I was just telling my friends how beautiful you were looking over there." He said. The butterflies in my stomach rose and gave me a pink blush across my cheeks. I tried to cover it, but I'm sure he saw it.

"Th-thank you. I- uh...I'm v-very sorry for...jumping to conclusions. I just don't like being laughed at." I said running a hand through my hair.

"Don't sweat it. Your alright, gorgeous. I'm Matt." He stuck his hand out. Oh my god I was melting at the sight of him still.

"Y/N."

"Now just when I though you couldn't get any prettier. Your name is quite beautiful...Y/N." Matt said. His accent thick and mesmerizing. I grinned and laughed a little bit. Matt raised his eyebrows and slowly took my cigarette out of my mouth. His fingers reached his lip and he took a drag.

"Thanks, doll. Maybe I'll see you around here again." Matt said as he walked away with the cigarette. This encounter is gonna leave me with some memories for sure.
