MIKE POV:

My dad pushed me into his office. Several things rushed through my head.

"Mike I've taught you better than this!" My dad lectured me. I wasn't in the mood.

"I know! But, dad I can't.....be a dad. I can't. I just can't." I admitted running a hand through my hair.

"Just go in there. Be with your wife and talk to her about this." My dad said and I guess he was right. Y/N must be heartbroken.

I left the office to see Carol standing there ready to give me a talk.

"What's the matter with you!" Carol said to me.

"Carol look I don't need you to lecture me." I pushed her out of the way. Y/N was in the kitchen with my mom.

"Can I....talk to you." I asked her and she followed me into the bedroom.

"What? What Mike?" She asked wiping her tears.

"I- I'm sorry. But Y/N, I can't raise a child!" I exclaimed. That only made it worse.

"Just say what your gonna say. Say it. What do you want me to do?" Y/N asked me.

I hung my head low.

"I just.....want the baby to have a good dad. Not one like me." I admitted and Y/N wrapped her arms around me.

"Mike. No one's prepared to be a parent. You'll be prepared after it comes. You're telling me you don't want to see your babies eyes open for the first time? You don't want to see it take it's first steps? You don't wanna see it say it's first words?" Those words hit me hard. The made me think. Really hard.

YOUR POV:

I can't believe Mike is doing this to me.

Mike hung his head low. After awhile I was getting impatient.

"You know what. You're right Y/N. I do want to have a baby. I do. And especially with you. I'd never want to have kids with anyone else. I was a jerk, an asshole. I just wasn't sure how to handle this. Now I do. I'm sorry. I love you Y/N and I love this baby." Mike said pulling me in for a kiss. His speech was short and sweet.

That's all I needed to hear before I knew this was the right thing.

Me and Mike exited the room. The whole family was waiting patiently for us.

"I'm gonna be a dad." Mike said to them and the all gushed over us. I kissed Mike one more time and Carol gave me the biggest hug ever.

"I'm so proud of you guys." Mr. Seaver said.

"Congratulations honey." Maggie said wrapped her arms around me. Mike stared at me with his beautiful eyes and kissed my lips again. I never got tired of his kisses.
