The Escape

Thomas and his friends managed to escape their bunk room through the vent before Janson got there. They came out into an empty hallway. Thomas checked to make sure that the coast was clear before they all came out.

"Come on. Come on. Come on. Okay, let's go. Let's go." Thomas said, guiding everyone out of the vent.

"You guys go ahead. There's something I gotta do." Aris said.

"What are you talking about?" Minho asked.

"Trust me, it's important. You guys wanna get out of here, right? Just go." Aris said.

"I'll go with him." Winston insisted.

"Okay, Winston. Go! Go! Come on!" Thomas said as they walked down the hallway.

"You sure we can trust this kid?" Minho asked.

"You don't wanna know who we'd be without him." Thomas said.

They were about to turn a corner, when they ran into Teresa's doctor.

"What are you kids doing out?" she asked them.

Then, a sequence of alarms started going off throughout the building. The boys knew that meant trouble. Thomas, Newt, Minho, Frypan, and Jack looked at each other, having the same idea in mind. The four of them stared back at Teresa's doctor.

Janson went to the surveillance room to track down the boys' whereabouts.

"I want this place locked down. Call everyone in. No one leaves until everyone's accounted for." Janson ordered.

He walked up behind the guy at the controls.

"Tell me you got eyes on them." he said.

"Still looking. Still looking." the surveillance guy said.

"Come on, come on, come on." Janson said with urgency.

"There! Who is that?" the surveillance guy said, pulling up the footage on a screen.

Janson studied the image on the screen. It was the boys with Teresa's doctor.

"Crawford! I'm going after the girls." he said to himself.

"Get everyone to the med wing. I want them alive." Janson ordered to some guards.

The boys continued to make their way down numerous hallways to get to Teresa and Mallory. They came around a corner and a guard was a short distance away from there.

"FREEZE!" he ordered, then fired his gun at them.

The boys covered themselves from the shots and went back down the previous hallway.

Minho stopped in his tracks and faced the opening.

"Minho? What are you doing? Minho!" Thomas said.

When the guard came into view, Minho ran and jump-kicked him right in the chest, which knocked the guard out.

The others came up to see the damage that their friend just did.

"Whoa, Minho!" Newt said out of shock.

Thomas grabbed the guard's gun and aimed it at their doctor's back. With that, they continued to find the girls.

They made the doctor take them to the room where Teresa and Mallory were being held. Another doctor saw her at the door and he opened it for her.

"Dr. Crawford? What are you-" he questioned.
