It's been almost a week since the Right Arm arrived at the Safe Haven island. The principles were played off by the rules in the Maze. Everyone has their own job to do, everyone gets along, and no one goes beyond the village. They have built several structures, found food sources, and it's turning out to be not as bad. It's amazing to see how much people can accomplish if they all pitch in and work hard.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been all that good.

Vince made a drastic decision that if Thomas and Mallory don't wake up anytime soon, that they're gonna put them out of their misery.

Time is almost up for them.

Suddenly, Thomas gasped awake and sat up on his bed. Courtney tended to his aid.

"Hey. It's okay." she said to him.

Thomas grunted as he slung his legs down to the side of the bed.

"Take it easy. You're gonna be sore for a little bit." Courtney advised.

Thomas rolled up his sleeves to see some bandaging on his arms to cover up the cuts and burns.

"What happened?" he asked in a soft tone.

"A lot. But, instead of telling you, why don't you see it for yourself?" Courtney said.

She helped him stand up and guided him to the exit of the structure they were in. Thomas walked out to see cliffs, vegetation, a long beach, and the ocean. He looked over his right to see a small village and people working everywhere in sight. He decided to walk up the path to find any of his friends.

Vince was in a corn field and he noticed Thomas walking up the path. Minho and Jorge were sitting on a large rock when they noticed Thomas as well. All of his friends stood up and approached him.

Minho was front and center, and the two of them shared a hug. They all felt like a piece of them was missing.

Joel was still by Mallory's bedside, holding her hand. He started to cry as he pressed his forehead against their interlocked hands. Luke was standing behind him, with a hand on his shoulder. He's never seen his older brother this upset. Ever since they flew away from the Last City, Mallory has been in a coma from her injuries.

"I see you dressed in white
Every wrong made right
I see a rose in bloom
At the sight of you
Oh, so priceless" Joel softly sang, but his sobs were in the way.

Luke kneeled next to him. The two of them held Mallory's hand and sang together.

"You're irreplaceable, unmistakable, incomparable
Darling, it's beautiful
I see it all in you
Oh, so priceless" they finished.

Right on cue, Courtney came in.

"I'm sorry, guys. But Vince said that time's up." she said.

"No. No, stop. Please." Joel begged as Luke tried to pull him away.

As his hand slipped out of his daughter's, he felt a grip. He turned around and saw his girl starting to wake up. Her eyes opened all the way.

"Dad?" Mallory said.

Joel breathed a heavy sigh of relief. He kneeled back down beside the bed to give his daughter a hug.

"We'll give you guys some privacy." Luke said, then him and Courtney left.
