Before I cook breakfast for everyone, I go to the bathroom. Opening up my makeup bag, I apply waterproof makeup since we are supposed to go kayaking today

I hope no one finds out I'm hiding my true self, they could bully me and call me names. No stop Janae, don't think like that

In the kitchen, I cook breakfast. On the stove was eggs and bacon sizzling on two pans, I work on the pancakes and the waffles.

I didn't know everyone's limit to eat so I made enough for everyone to eat. The person to first wake up was Yasmina, she greeted me with a good morning and sat on the couch "Mmm what's that amazing smell?" Ben asked walking up to me

"That, Ben, is the smell of a great morning. It will be finished in a minute" He node his head and sits somewhere, I don't know where he sat at

Everyone starts coming in one by one. Once Kenji came in, we locked eyes. I immediately blushed and turned back to cooking, he notices this and chuckles silently, and moves to sit somewhere else

Hmm, where are Darius and Brooklyn? The food finishes and everyone gets the share of a plate, I saved Darius and Brooklyn's plate in the refrigerator then I go and sit with Kenji. After everyone finishes their food, each person we went to do their own thing

Me? I decided to paint in my free time "What's up, Camp Cretaceous?" Darius bursts through the door happy as can be "Not in a whoo-hoo this morning, Darius. Not after yesterday, trekking through a rainstorm will do that"

"We only had to walk because you crashed our gyrosphere"

"But today's a new day! Kayak Day! Who doesn't wanna paddle alongside dinosaurs, real dinosaurs? It's gonna be awesome right? Has anyone seen Dave and Roxie?"

Kenji uses his legs to push his chair over to Darius to give him the note. "BRB Gotta go, boss-talk. Later, smiley face?"

"Roxie translated it on the back"

"We have to go talk to our boss, stay inside until we return. Draw, bond, whatever. The radio's set for channel six in case you need us, stay inside. Sorry for the kids' menus it's all Dave had"

"Do they not understand how old we are? I mean when was the last time you even saw a crayon?" Kenji asks and Ben holds up his drawing for his defense

"Hey has anyone seen Brooklyn?" Just then she busts through the door, glaring right at Sammy "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I joke around

"What's new on the internet, Superstar?"

"I wouldn't know because when I to get my phone from its charger, it wasn't there! Someone stole my phone" So no good morning or anything like that?

"Brooklyn, who hasn't had your phone?" Yasmina asks her and everyone starts explaining why they had Brooklyn's phone

"I needed to check the weather last night..."

"Dr. Sattler posted a new column on microfossils yesterday..."

"I used your phone to take pictures, it was too good to miss the selfie opp but I haven't used it since..."

"Carnaval started back in Haiti and I wanted to see what was going on but it's okay. Since we aren't kayaking until later, let's all find Brooklyn's phone"

"I think I know exactly where to look. I also think that whoever took the phone might be trying to hide some of the things that are on it, what do you think Sammy and Janae?" This girl got some nerve to think I stole her phone

"Me? I've been up since 5 o'clock fixing breakfast for everyone which you and Darius have yet to eat..." When I said that, Darius speeds to the kitchen getting the food "And now you're accusing me of stealing your phone? You're tripping"
