Escape From Isla Nublar Pt. 2

Janae screams at the top of her lungs as the Scorpius pounces from the trees. It swung its tail and throws it to the ground, almost hitting Darius. Janae took this as her chance to run away. The kids run inside the abandoned welcome center, away from the Scorpius. Yaz and Sammy closes the door hard, the rest of the kids help them. Once the door was closed, Janae breathed heavily. She looked up to see the gun in Darius's hand "Sorry I honestly forgot I was holding it" He apologizes

"It's okay. We'll get another chance" Brooklyn responsed. A Compy shrieked out of nowhere, scaring the kids. Janae's eyes follow the direction the Compies were coming from, all of a sudden, she hears loud thuds. Just then, she saw the mysterious orange color of the Scorpius's eyes. She gasped quietly "How did it get here so fast?" She asks

Darius shook his head "It's the other one" He says. The other one?! So that's why it looks scarier, Janae thought. The Scorpius gave out a loud roar, the sound waves crushing Janae's eardrums. Darius holds out the gun towards it. It took a few seconds but Darius pulled the trigger, the tranquilizer flew in the air. But unfortunately, he missed. The tranquilizer stuck itself in a portrait instead

The Scorpius looks in between the kids and the tranquilizer, it was almost like it could sense that the kids were trying to put it down. It runs towards them, the kids got out of the way just in time. Janae slipped on a bone which caused her to trip on her feet. The Scorpius tail swung around her, the spike on its tail grazed her ankle but she paid no attention to it, one little cut can wait

She runs up the stairs along with Ben, who was right in front of her. Ben grabs her wrist to lead her up, due to the debris falling because of the Scorpius. The kids ran straight into this kitchen on the side, Ben lowered Janae down to his side, in between him and Sammy. They all breathed loudly before that one thump caused them all to stop breathing. 

The Scorpius was close, it crept through the hallway but it stopped at the door. Through a small little hole in between the stoves, Janae could see its eyes piercing through the window. She grips onto her bracelet, praying that they'll make it out alive. Thankfully, it finally leaves, they all release a breath of relief

But then, the Scropius breaks through the door, destroying everything in its path. It jumps on the counter, smelling each kid. Then it peeks over one way, seeing Brooklyn and Sammy. But soon, Kenji got up from his hiding place, he had a plan. Nearby were a couple of stoves, he turned each of them on, trying to distract the raging hybrid

Thankfully, it did. The fire distracted the Scorpius, which allowed Brooklyn and Sammy to escape. Janae was just a step ahead in front of everyone, literally. She ran downstairs along with Ben and Yaz, trying to reach for the door. "Outside!" Kenji yelled

"What about the other Scorpius?!" Brooklyn asked. "I'll take my chances!" He threw the door open. Once they were outside, they shrunk back in fear. Blue, the raptor, emerged from the trees. She was very curious of why they were intruding on her home. They ran back inside, not knowing what to do. Kenji, Sammy, and Darius pushed the door back but Blue slammed her head into it, trying to break through. The three kids fought back but it was no use, she had already got in

She crept up on the scared kids. Yaz looked around, hoping to find a plan when suddenly, the plan found her. "Up there!" She pointed to that wobbly structure when her, Kenji, Janae, and Darius were here the first time. But her plans were canceled when the Scorpis popped out of nowhere

They were trapped. Darius looks over to his side to see the tranquilizer gun just laying there. But another shriek came from above, the first Scorpius was here and it looked pissed off. The two Scorpius fought each other, not caring about anything else. A random light falls right beside Yaz, the building was coming apart
