Since we came back from Siargao, I noticed the frequent presence of Asher in our house to visit my 'mom' and my 'siblings'. He isn't talking to me, which is a good thing because I think I can't face him properly after everything he had said.

I'm too mad and hurt that I don't think I could talk to him about what he told me the last time we talked. It's too downgrading for me. Pakiramdam ko napakababa ng tingin niya sa akin.

"Anak, aren't you going home tonight?" I sighed when I heard my mom's careful voice from the other line. Madalas pinapauwi niya ako ng maaga at kapag ganoon, nadaratnan ko si Asher sa bahay. Ngayon, sa tingin ko ganoon na naman.

"I'm staying here in the mansion for the meantime po. Do you need anything?" It's been my excuse, though. Ginawa ko na yatang excuse ang pagbisita kay Daddy para lang makatakas sa bahay. It just annoys me so much whenever I dine with Asher everytime. Nakakairita lang!

"Uh, wala naman. I'm just wondering since it's almost eight in the evening. Have you eaten your dinner?" Habang sinasabi niya 'yon ay naririnig ko naman ang marahang pagkatok sa pintuan ng kwarto ko.

"Kels?" I stared at my door when I heard my sister's voice outside. Juliana's also here?

"I'm done with my dinner, mom. Sige na po. I have to end this. Please call me if there's a problem, okay?"

"Okay, anak. Uwi ka bukas, ha. I love you, Kelsey." She didn't wait for my answer and just ended the call. Wala na akong nagawa at hindi na nakapagprotesta. Minsan, naiisip kong pinaglalapit niya kami ni Asher dahil madalas niya ring tawagin ito at papuntahin sa bahay. Pero baka talagang gusto lang niya akong umuwi?

I'm not even sure why they were still closed. Ilang taon na ang lumipas mula nang makilala nila si Asher kaya ipinagtataka ko kung bakit hanggang ngayon parang anak pa rin ang turing niya rito. Even my sister and my brother are so fond of him! Sus! Kung alam lang nila kung gaano kagago ang unggoy na 'yon! Baka sila pa ang mismong magpaalis sa kanya!

I rolled my eyes and put my phone on my side table before stepping out of my bed. Mabilis kong tinahak ang pintuan at binuksan 'yon, revealing my sister who looked so serious.

"Juls, I didn't know you're here." I opened my door wider and let her in. She's still wearing her usual office dress but her hair's a bit disheveled. Hindi rin maipinta ang mukha niya.

"I just visited Dad. Nabanggit din ni Manang na andito ka kaya inakyat ko na rin. Anyway, we have to talk." She sounded so serious that it brought unpleasant feeling in my nerves.

"About what?"

"Lock the door first, Kels. I have to tell you something important." I followed what she said. Pagka-lock ay hinarap ko siya. She's now sitting on the edge of my bed. Mabilis na nagmasid ang mga mata niya sa paligid bago ako nilingon.

"What is it?" Bahagya akong kinabahan nang mapansin ang gitla sa noo niya. Juliana has a very strong personality kaya ang makita siyang problemado ay bahagyang nakapagpabagabag sa akin. "May problema ba?"

She sighed before massaging her left temple with her fingers. Bahagyang pumikit ang mga mata, para bang hindi alam kung paano magsisimula. "It's about the company."
