"Trev, a black van is following us." Carlton's alarmed voice made me look on my side mirror immediately. Tulad ng sabi niya, sa likuran ay may nakasunod na kahina-hinalang sasakyan. Agad nagtagis ang bagang ko dahil alam ko kung kaninong mga tauhan ito.

I already expected this to happen. Kaya sinamahan namin ni Carlton si Lux papunta sa mga magsasaka sa Tarlac. He just visited since the farmers wanted to thank him personally for defending them.

At dahil teritoryo ito ng kalaban at nasisiguro kong mas lumala ang galit ng mga Medina kay Lux dahil sa pagkatalo nila sa kaso, I'm sure they will not allow Lux to go out of Tarlac alive!

Pagkasa ng baril ang narinig ko sa backseat. Carlton's readying his gun kaya mabilis ko ring binunot ang baril na nasa likuran ko.

"Call Shepard." Mariin kong sambit, sinusubukang mas pabilisin ang pagpapatakbo sa sasakyan.

"What the hell's happening?" Lux suddenly looked anxious yet still clueless. Inabutan siya ni Carlton ng baril but Lux was refusing.

He learned how to use it because I insist but as much as possible he really doesn't want to use what I taught him. For him, everything should go through legal process and not with using any firearms.

I agree though. But it's also reasonable to use a gun to defend yourself especially if your life's at stake. But my twin is really stubborn. Dahil sanay nang makatanggap ng death threats, para sa kanya kung oras niya na ay mamatay siya may hawak man siyang armas pamprotekta sa sarili o wala.

Which I will never allow to happen! Not even a single chance! Maaaring may mga bagay kaming hindi napagkakasunduang dalawa dahil sa pagkakaiba namin pero ni minsan hindi kami nag-iwanan ano mang problema ang pinagdaanan namin!

"At least hold the gun, Lux! You don't have to fire if you really don't want to. But if ever you'll need it, please do it and protect yourself!" I said in gritted teeth and glanced again at the vehicle behind.

"You knew this would happen, right!?" I could hear annoyance and accusations on my twin's voice while he's getting the gun from Carlton. Nilingon din niya ang likuran bago muling bumaling sa akin. "You knew it! That's why you forced yourself to go with me! And who are those people? Are those from the Medina's?"

"Who else?" I countered sarcastically. Mas pinabilis pa ang pagpapaandar ng sasakyan. Damn! Dapat yata'y si Cole ang pinagdrive ko! "Sila lang naman 'yong atat na atat na ipapatay ka! At andito ka sa teritoryo nila! You were the Medina's greatest nightmare, Lux! And they surely knew that you are holding the biggest evidence that would totally pull their power away from them!" I was pertaining to the evidences Tito Martin left when he died.

Since then, I knew that Tito Martin had something in his sleeves. I already had hints that he's involved in some illegal shits since he's friends with the Medina's. But because I love his daughter, it became harder for me to accept that truth. Or maybe because I can't tell Sam how terrible his father was.

My wife doesn't know his father very well and I have no enough guts to tell her everything. It's already enough that she knew his involvement in illegal logging. Discovering another illegalities his father did in the past would be too much for her. And I also don't want to taint Tito Martin's image to his family anymore. He's already dead and though I'm sure heaven won't accept him, he at least deserved some peace too.
