The Last Teardrop (TS3)

Chapter 7

"Good night, Kelsey. Have a sweet dream", I swallowed hard as soon as William turned his back on me and started walking back to the living room.

Halos hindi ako makagalaw sa pwesto ko dahil sa panlalamig at panginginig ng katawan. I don't know why I got so nervous with what he do. Hindi ko alam kung tama bang pag-isipan ko nang masama ang ginawa niya o baka ako lang talaga ang nag-iisip nang ganoon?

When I heard their bedroom's door shut off, I quickly made my way out of the kitchen and locked myself inside the room designated for me. Hindi na ako nakapagtimpla ng gatas o nakainom man lang ng tubig. Hindi na rin ako dinalaw ng antok dahil sa sobrang kabang nararamdaman.

How would I tell Mom about what happened? And what should I tell her? Paano kung mali naman pala ang iniisip ko? Paano kung ako lang ang nagbibigay ng malisya?

It's almost morning when I was able to sleep kaya naman nang ginising ako ni Mommy kinabukasan, sobrang sakit ng ulo ko dahil kulang sa tulog. Hindi na rin naman ako makabalik sa paghiga dahil maingay na sa labas.

I took a bath and changed into a decent dress since Mom planned to celebrate our birthday party today. Kami lang naman at mga kaibigan nina Mommy ang andito kaya maliit na selebrasyon lang ang magaganap.

I just wanted to be with my mom and my siblings that's why I decided to go here. Ilang birthdays ko na rin kasing hindi nakakasama si Mommy and I really missed her so much. Ngayon, nadagdagan pa ang dahilan ko para bisitahin siya dito dahil sa mga kapatid ko.

"Advance happy birthday, Kelsey", Mom hugged me as soon as I went out of my room. She's still wearing her apron and obviously busy doing her things in the kitchen.

"Thanks, mom. Where are Von and Alexa?"

"They're with your Auntie Celine. Ipinasyal muna sa park para walang makulit", she stared at me with her soft and loving eyes, as if adoring what she's seeing in front with of her right now, "You grew up beautifully, anak. Napakaganda mo"

"It's because you're beautiful, mom", I smiled sweetly at her. That's true though. Mom looks like a beauty queen. Marami nang gustong manligaw sa kanya noon pa man. But she's too focus to me back then so no one was able to make my mom say yes.

"Dito pa tayo nagbolohan mag-ina", she chuckled a little which made me smile more, "You want to help in cooking?"

Since mom has no one to help her do all the cooking and preparing, I helped her with everything that she needed. I have less knowledge about cooking so nag-aabot na lang ako sa kanya ng mga kailangan at kung minsan ay naghahalo kapag may kailangan siyang gayatin.

I also initiated in fixing and decorating the table since that's the least I could do to lessen her work. Medyo namamayat si Mommy ngayon dahil siya lang ang nag-aalaga sa dalawa kong kapatid at siya rin ang naglilinis dito sa bahay. They can't afford to get a nanny because William's salary is just enough to pay for their bills and buy their daily needs.

Kaya gustong gusto na rin ni Mommy na magkahanap ng trabaho para makatulong sa partner niya. Yun nga lang, walang mag-aalaga kay Alexa dahil masyadong maliit pa ito.

"Ate Kelsey!", I turned to the front door when I heard Von's cheerful voice. He's holding his dinosaur toy while walking briskly towards me, "You're here!"

He looked so happy and surprised while hugging me. Hindi nga pala niya ako nakita noong dumating ako kagabi because he's already sleeping. Mukhang nasorpresa siya nang sobra ngayon.
