"Are you ready?" Justin asked, gently rubbing my tummy as we sat in the waiting room. Today was the first ultrasound we are getting for our little baby. It's the beginning of October, I'm barely two months. I bounced my leg anxiously, biting my bottom lip. "Yeah, I guess." I nodded, I could tell he knew I wasn't being entirely truthful. "It's natural for you to be nervous, babe." Justin whispered to me, gently nuzzling my neck with his nose. "I know, but what if something is wrong?" I asked, fidgeting with his fingers.

"Don't think that, baby. Even if something is wrong, it won't change our love for this baby." He said, gently rubbing his thumb over my belly button. "Nicole Villegas?" A woman with ash blonde hair and honey eyes peeked through the door where the doctor rooms were. We both stood, Justin helping me up. "Babe, I can walk." I smiled softly as we walked to the nurse. "I know, I just want to help you." He said, pressing a kiss to my cheek as we followed the nurse to the doctors room.

The doctor in the room was a older man, white hair slicked back and hands folded. "Hello, I'm Dr. Ziegler. I'll be your maternity doctor for the rest of your pregnancy." He smiled warmly, shaking hands with both of us. "How many months are you?" He asked, scribbling on a clipboard. "This month is my second." I smiled, as Justin's hand gently clasped over my tummy. "Would you lay down on here for me?" Doctor Ziegler said, gently patting the bed. I laid on the bed, as the doctor continues to scribble on the clipboard. "Can you pull up your top, Ms. Villegas? We need to apply some gel before we start the procedure." Doctor Ziegler said warmly.

"Of course." I said, rolling my shirt up with Justin close to my side. He rubbed some clear goop on on my abdomen, it felt nice and cool against my usually warm stomach. He rubbed a ultrasound probe on my gel covered stomach, a fuzzy black and white image appeared on the screen next to me. I gasped, throwing my hand over my mouth. I glanced over to Justin, his eyes were glued to the screen. "There's the baby." Doctor Ziegler cooed, getting a wand so he could point out everything. "There's the outline of the little hands, and the outline of the feet." The doctor said, pointing out the little blobs. My eyes watered, I loved this little blob of love so much. Justin was smiling so hard, I thought his cheeks would rip.

"It's okay to be emotional, hormones are flying everywhere during pregnancy." Doctor Ziegler smiled, making me mentally groan. "Would you like pictures?" He asked, I nodded eagerly. "How many?" He asked. "Mm..six." I said, counting Justin, my purse, our pregnancy book, Justin's mom, Jasmine, and my mom. That's when I realized. "We haven't told my mom." I whispered as Doctor Ziegler left the room to pick up the pictures. "Do we need to tell her?" Justin frowned.

"Yeah, it's another baby that contains her genes." I said, Justin nodded. "We will go tell her today, once we pick Delilah up." Justin said, kissing my cheek. Doctor Ziegler came with pictures in a large envelope, and wiped the gel off my stomach. I rolled my shirt back down, and sat up. "You come back on December 4, in one month for another check up. Eat healthy, walk in place for 10 minutes each day." Doctor Ziegler said, writing on a bright pink slip and handing me the slip. We walked out of the room, as Doctor Ziegler waved goodbye.

As we went in the elevator, a certain girl came in with a trolley with food for the patients. "Vanessa! What are you doing here?" Justin smiled. "I work here, sugar!" Vanessa smiled, not even looking at me. I smashed my two front teeth to my bottom lip, and Vanessa turned to me. "What are you doing here, Nicole?" Vanessa smiled, voice dripping with honey. "I had a ultrasound done." I said confidently. "Oh." Her voice dropped, and she continued talking to Justin. I could tell Justin tried to not upset me, he didn't reply much.

Even in a drab white dress, Vanessa still managed to look hot. The dress stopped at her mid thighs, she had white fishnet leggings on, and white flats. Her silky black hair was brushed thoroughly, and a nurses' hat sat perfectly atop her head. Her skin was silky smooth, and her eyebrows were plucked perfectly. With her red pouty lips and polka dotted nails, Vanessa knew she looked gorgeous. She's a 'It Girl' I realized. She's tall, cool, and sophisticated. She works at a hospital, helping the sick children. Of course.
