Nicoles POV

I woke up, eyes still welled shut with eye boogers. I felt around for soft hair, or a smooth bicep. But then I suddenly remembered what happened last night, and It felt like a deadly bomb exploded in my throat. I decided that this wouldn't take over my emotions today, I would simply ignore Justin. It can't be that hard, right? I clicked the home button on my phone to see the time. It was 9:26, I decided to hop in the shower and change into a zebra print blouse and black yoga pants, hair in a high ponytail. I pushed Delilah afoot open, to see if she was awake. The door scraped on the hinges, waking Delilah up from her deep slumber. "Sorry baby girl, did I wake you up?" I ask, sitting on the corner of the plush bed.

"Mhm, it's okay." Delilah yawned, stretching her arms. "Do you want to come watch some tv with me? I'm lonely." I said, realizing how bad that sounded. "But Daddy is with you, why are you lonely?" She asked. "Daddy slept downstairs, Delilah." I explained, brushing her messy hair out of her face."Why?" Delilah asked, corners of her lips twitching into a frown. "I'm upset with him right now, but it's okay, don't worry." I assured, it isn't fair for a little girl to be worrying about that. "Cmon, lets get something in your tummy so we can go to the store." I said, pulling a pair of socks out of her drawer and slipping them on her little feet.

We went downstairs, and Justin was already in the kitchen mixing a pot with oatmeal inside. I swallowed my saliva, pulling out the chair so Delilah could sit. Justin set two bowls of oatmeal on the table and two glasses of milk. I sat the table, staring down at the floral tablecloth. Justin sat across from me, I could feel intense hazel eyes watching me closely. I moved the oatmeal around in the bowl with my spoon, trying to focus on the bowl. My stomach was filled with so much angst and emotions, I wasn't hungry. Justin sighed, taking in a large gulp of air.

"Can you please talk to me?" Justin asked. I said nothing. "Baby girl, you can watch the television for a bit." I whispered to Delilah, she nodded and left the kitchen. "Why are you so upset?" He asked, that's when I exploded. "You expect me to be fine with what she said last night? You expect me to act normally? You expect me to be okay with you lying to me?" I said, holding the burning tears in. "Just let me explain, please?" He asked, his vulnerable voice made me give in.

"Yes, we did date for a bit. And we had sex. But she was a sorority princess, I was pressured by my friends to be with the 'hot popular girl'. When I had relations with her, I felt nothing. Not one thing. I never loved her. You know who I love? I love you. You are the mother of my children and you are the oxygen that keeps me alive. You are the sunshine in all my mornings, even when our little baby has you grouchy. I treasure each and every day with you as if it was the last day of my life. I love you so much, I don't care about that...whore. You're worst day would be better than her best day would ever be. Never feel intimidated by her, you are better inside and out. I love you." Justin said, making me burst in tears.

"I'm sorry for being so jealous, I was just so afraid that you might decide she is ten times better than me." I said, tears moistening his grey shirt. "Don't apologize baby, I get it." He murmured against the skin of my cheek. "Eat something, yeah? You and the baby need something." Justin said. All of a sudden, my hunger came back and I inhaled the food in seconds. "We have to go to the store, we are running low on a few things." I said. "Okay, we will go. But after that can we go to Home Depot and babies r us to pick out things for that babies' room?" Justin asked softly.

"We don't even know the gender of that baby, though." I laughed. "We can pick Unisex colors, I want to at least do the walls today." Justin said. "Okay, sounds good." I nodded. "But I don't want you at home while I'm painting, the fumes from the paint can hurt you and the baby." Justin said, eyes filled with love and concern. "I'll hang at Jasmines house while you paint, Delilah will be at school. And I'll make sure Vanessa isn't there." I said, giving him a soft Eskimo kiss.
