Nicole's POV
"Hey, Nicole, are you awake?" Justin whispered in my ear, fingers twirling the ends of my hair. "Well now I am." I yawned. "How long have you been awake?" I asked sleepily. "For a while...I was just studying you." He smiled. "That isn't creepy at all." I said. He attempted to kiss me, when I stopped him. "Not with that morning breath. Use the extra toothbrush in the bathroom." I laughed quietly, squirming out of his arms and going to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, and went to the kitchen. I brewed coffee, and drank it black. "Want some?" I offered to Justin.
"No, Thank you. I gotta go... Selena wants me home." Justin said, hand running through his hair. "Oh...well I wanna let you know last night was amazing." I said, as he gently pulled me towards himself. "So is that a yes?" Justin asked, heartbeat steady. "For what?" I asked, edges of my lips curling in a smile. "You know...a yes to..be my lovely girl?" Justin hummed. "Oh. That's definitely a yes, then." I smiled, pressing our lips together. "Thank you, Thank you so much, baby." Justin said, his nickname for me making my heart flutter. "Thank you, have a nice day." I said, kissing his cheek as he went out the door.
I started to make cinnamon oatmeal, when Delilah came downstairs. "Good morning Princess, sit." I said, kissing her cheek. Delilah sat in her seat, and I put a small bowl with oatmeal in front of her. I sat down as well, scooping the cinnamon mush in my mouth. I scanned over the newspaper, sipping a bit of water. I sliced some berries in our bowls, to add some flavor. "Oh, you're all messy." I smiled softly, seeing the cinnamon goop smeared on her pajamas and om the tips of her hair. Delilah giggled, sliding her finger through the mush and swiping it on my cheek.
I wiped it off with the palm of my hand, chuckling lightly. I wiped her face and hair with a napkin. "Cmon, let's get you dressed. Catch me if you can!" I said, running to Delilahs room as she followed, giggling. I helped her take off her mucky pajamas, and put on some new underwear. I put a pink, long sleeve shirt, with a cute stencil kitty on the front. I helped her put on black leggings with bows at the cuffs, and pink sketchers. I combed her hair into a ponytail, and helped her find her backpack in the toy filled room.
"Delilah, I'm going to go change." I said, and went to my room to change.
I took off my pajamas, and put on a sports bra and underwear. I slipped in a orange floral blouse, with a black wrap skirt. I slipped on orange cream flats, and spritzed on Beyonce perfume. I did a loose braid on my brown hair, and started on makeup. I used gray eye shadow, and volumizer mascara. I put pale pink lipstick on my lips, and went back in the living room.
I snapped Delilahs lunch box on her backpack. "Let's get going, Delilah." I said, slipping my purse on my arm. I locked the door, and headed to the parking lot with Delilah. I slipped my hand in Delilahs', and we walked to the car. I strapped Delilah in her car seat, she will need a new one soon. I carefully closed the door, and sat in the drivers seat. I drove to the small elementary school, and parked in front of the preschool section. I took Delilah out of the car, and walked her to the school.
It was a breezy, but warm day, it was nice. I signed Delilah in, and she rushed inside. I watched her place her backpack in a cubby, and smiled softly at her manner of being. I went back to the car and drove home. I had to put my uniform to dry and I had to mop, and clean the house in general. I put my uniform in the dryer, and mopped the kitchen and living room. I made all the beds, and scrubbed all the dark spots off of the walls. By the time I was done, it was about time to go to work.
I folded my uniform and placed it in my bag, along with my uniform socks and shoes. I made a tuna sandwich, and wrapped it in foil; I tossed that in there as well. I put my phone in my purse pocket, along with my wallet, and headed out the door.
